Diaz updates injuries, talks recruiting ahead of VT

The Jordan hate is some real bullsh*t. Y'all have no idea if the shoulder thing is lingering, if he got caught up in the covid protocol (doesn't mean he has it) or what's happening. Yet some of you default to him being a "p*ssy." Why would you do that? No one's calling Greg Rosseau a p*ssy for opting out. Brevin could have done the same **** thing and I bet you same idiots would be praising his "business decision."

This is some real weak sh*t from some of you.

Brevin likely isn't playing
BJ is going 1st/2nd round.... if i was him i wouldn't play another down of this covid-cucked season either....

He's gonna be a millionaire by next fall-- it would be stupid for him to risk that after this recent injury.

Meaningless season anyways.

Save it for the Pro's Big John!

I’m saying Justin Fields, King, Burrows, Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, and Jalen Hurts are reasons that you don’t need to get a high school kid and spend 3 years developing him.
And that’s why I said The Portal is a crap shoot, and 3 of the 4 QBs u named went to play for a coach who’s been producing Heisman QBs. Lol. The other guy was a RS Freshman, a 5 star, and the #1 QB in the nation, where fans hurled racial epithets at him.

But that’s the good you mentioned; well let’s talk about the others that contradict that notion. And here we go:
-Tate Martell
-Kelly Bryant
-Brandon Wimbush
-Ricky Town
-Shae Patterson
-Brandon Peters
-JT Daniels
-Max Bortenschlager
-Hunter Johnson
-Max Browne
-Blake Barnett
-Phillip Sims
-Kyle Allen
-Jacob Eason

I’m sure I’m missing more, but these are off the top of the dome who were high 247 recruits, went to other schools, transferred, and did chit.

There’s way more stories of Portal QBs flaming than being successful, and the ones you mentioned: Fields went to OSU & Day. OSU may not produce great NFL QBs, but since Urb’s staff, they produce great CFB QBs. We all know that Lincoln Riley may be the best offensive mind and QB tutor in the game. They guy produces Heisman QBs. I could probably transfer to OU & put up rainbow #’s.

Point is; there is never, NEVER a reason to rely upon the portal, consistently, not when u r building a championship caliber team. The portal should be a stop gap, only, not a solution. Not getting CBs & QBs via recruiting is terrible, and saying “you can always check the portal” is a **** poor way to run that dept.

He’s not going first round. He’s too injury prone, and he’s 6’3 at the position.

Bingo!

El Jeffe knows that and done that...

Look at our 2021 class...

I bet our 2022 will be even better...

We climbing one rung at a time-- the only way it can be done.

This is your first post? Seriously?

I agree with with him....

Phillips is displaying his playmaking through multiple years/games...

Rousseau is betting on his "flash" from last season....

Pro Scouts will be nervous about a kid who quit it early because his physical and playmaking development has taken a pause....

They will need to decide between the guy who's doing it every weekend on the field vs. a guy who flashed for part of a sh*t season in 2019.

I would take the guy who's proving his ongoing worth on the field --higher statistical bet.

Brevin may have to comeback for another season if he’s out any longer. His draft stock will drop significantly due to constant injuries. Play his senior year and try to stay injury free

I disagree he’s yet to play a full season in college that will define you frop him to at least 3rd or later. Deff more talented than that but he can’t stay healthy

Imma just say it:
The 2021 class looks good on paper, and hits the mark on certain needs, and completely drops the ball on other needs. We have some big fish in the pan, and the trimmings to go along w it is no where to be found.......yet.

Good TE's are becoming a huge commodity in the NFL.... especially TE's from Da U.
Good TEs are being drafted outside the 1st round. You’re availability is the utmost importance. I’m sure Njoku is doing no favors for Jordan. We haven’t produced a great TE at the next level in years; let’s keep it solid.

Njoku is a beast who plays in the worst franchise in the NFL. Not exactly his fault but point taken.

Njoku looks like Tarzan, and have been injured a lot. I should know b/c I blindly pick him for my FFB squad every year, thinking it’s going to be different. Sophomore campaign was solid, and buddy can’t stay healthy since. Lost his starting position b/c of it.

Eason was solid his one season at Washington and 4th round pick. Many think he should start for the Colts if they fall out of the playoff picture.

Jordan has all the skills but as others have posted TE is not usually a premium position for first-round selection. A number of the most productive TEs were mid-round picks., and several first-rounders have not been panned out given where they were chosen.
