Diaz on SI Hot Names List

If he leaves the sky is falling because he is the greatest ever. If he stays the sky is falling because he is the worst ever and everyone else is better.

As a self admitted Diaz hater, hard to believe he made adjustments to help the D and Richt hasn't done the same with the offense. Took Manny 3 years to figure some things out that didn't work, and he made the changes. Props to him, I thought he was too stubborn to change. Now if he could talk some sense to Corch.

The thing that sticks out at me with Manny is how many times he's called a time out prior to a big 3rd down and then his team makes a big play as if they knew what was coming. The pick six against Notre dame last year being the most prime example.

One.

That’s how many times that sticks out to you.

Good job.

Love the agressiveness and excitement Diaz has brought to our program. Think he's a **** of a young coach.

But it seems like he needs Miami level talent on defense for his high risk/high reward scheme to work consistently. He's not going to walk into any situation where he's going to have anything close to that.

He's also never struck me as a high level recruiter.

He'd be a pretty big gamble for a team looking for a new HC imo.

Lets hope he takes the Venables and Bud Foster route and wants to stay somewhere for awhile as a DCoordinator.

He's been an amazing fit here.

His aggressive style has meshed very well with our athletes, and he's shown he's grown and can adapt from his UT days, and even last year.

If he keeps this up, think it's inevitable he gets poached by some school offering him a king's ransom, or he lands a head coaching gig.

In that case, it's time to get that psychopath Jim Leavitt on the horn. But knowing Richtirement, his youngest granddaughter will take over the D.C. Role.

I'm not surprised, but I'm not sure he want to leave his roots in South Florida.

I doubt that even a blank check will get Coach Diaz out of South Florida. You can't put a price on living and working at home. His entire family lives here. His roots are here. He loves living in paradise. A promotion to head coach might do the trick, but even then it's going to have to be an ideal situation for him. I don't think he's leaving Miami, unless it's for the total package. HC position, money and lots of it, and at a major program with tons of support.

Diaz is a rockstar here as Richt has a dumpster fire of an offense that just makes him look so much better!

I really hope he stays awhile but hes getting back to being a national name and some team is gonna pay him a gob of money

Hopefully it’s a Bud Foster situation. Bud loves nothing more than getting drunk and ******* with VT coeds. I mean i know that’s not Manny but hopefully he hasn’t what he loves here haha

I am a big Manny fan but he’s had some ups and downs I’m not sure what jobs will be available to him but I would definitely take a chance on him

'A Random Ranking

The most recent edition of Halloween hit theaters this past weekend, so let’s rank the scariest horror villains whose exploits spawned at least five installments including sequels and/or remakes.

1. Leatherface
2. Michael Myers
3. The Xenomorph
4. Jason Voorhees
5. Freddy Krueger
6. Pinhead
7. Jigsaw
8. The Ball from the Phantasmfranchise
9. Chucky
1,537. The L
eprechaun'

This was more interesting... I gotta go with Zombie's reboots Michael Myers( along with the original), and the Xenomorph from Alien(s)

Tall Dude from Phantasm was creepy too
