Diaz on SI Hot Names List

He's been an amazing fit here.

His aggressive style has meshed very well with our athletes, and he's shown he's grown and can adapt from his UT days, and even last year.

If he keeps this up, think it's inevitable he gets poached by some school offering him a king's ransom, or he lands a head coaching gig.

In that case, it's time to get that psychopath Jim Leavitt on the horn. But knowing Richtirement, his youngest granddaughter will take over the D.C. Role.

You realize Leavitt is the Oregon DC right?

Wouldn't be surprised if Diaz leaves, honestly. I'm pretty sure his unit is sick and tired of the offense not holding their end of the bargain. Look at the Orange Bowl and the Pitt game. ****, look at the LSU game and UVA game this year.

It's amazing how we complained about Diaz and the third down woes. So what did he do? He looked at his personnel and said we'll just put speed on the field on 3rd downs, instead of letting McCloud get burned by a tight end or slot receiver. What's that you say? Yes, that's called coaching.

I can't hate on Diaz. I can, however, hate, hate, hate on Richt's side of the ball.

I doubt that even a blank check will get Coach Diaz out of South Florida. You can't put a price on living and working at home. His entire family lives here. His roots are here. He loves living in paradise. A promotion to head coach might do the trick, but even then it's going to have to be an ideal situation for him. I don't think he's leaving Miami, unless it's for the total package. HC position, money and lots of it, and at a major program with tons of support.
Hope you are right
