As a follow up Diaz was asked if he us considering changes to the coaching staff.

His response?

“What I’m saying right now is our season is not over,” Diaz said. “Let’s finish the season. Let’s get a plan together to play our best in the bowl game and let’s see what we like and didn’t like and what we need to improve from there. That’s what we owe our players and the program.”

This quote says it all really. Manny thinks that there were points in which we played good. That’s not the case, we played adequate to our talent advantage. Not once did we every exceed it, and Manny seems to think that the highs of this season were good enough. But they really weren’t.

Hes looking at it all wrong.

Miami was known for EXPLOSIVE plays and that is what you need to be trying to replicate.

I will go the conspiracy route and state Enos is running exactly what he wants and hes not all the way upset with the offense. He sees it as an execution issue.

He will never opt for a up tempo offense bc he wants to protect his defense, which is a loser mentality.
 
If he does make the change at OC, he better be working behind the scenes on some options. I don’t want the season to end and then we’re scrambling to find a guy.

Why is Manny waiting until after the bowl game?

Announce changes now but let coaches remain to work with team through bowl game. Everyone wins that way. Fans are appeased. Coaches that will not be retained have time to find new gigs. And Miami can contact any coaches that become available now so they're not gone by the time a decision is made.

Because if we win he will keep the coaches. If we drop 50 like we did against Louisville he will think everything is fine.

Willie picked up Kendall Briles. FSU sucked on both sides of the ball though.

This is a failed coaching regime. Everyone will be gone within the next few years. Who cares who he does or does not retain.

We lost to FIU. Who cares who the assistant coaches are?

IMO, it'd be worse to induce a kid to sign here b/c of a particular coach and then fire that coach the day after signing day. Just be candid with the kid. You explain why coach is being fired and then sell kid on new vision, coach, etc.
