Diaz introduced as Miami's new head coach, speaks on vision for the future

Yikes. Like it or not CMR gave Miami its 3 best consecutive years in a decade and a half.

It looks that way, but he really did not. He underachieved more than Al Golden. That is, Golden was not viewed in the same light as Mark richt. Richt was viewed as an accomplished coach, but he performed like a rookie.

Richt was only "one season" game better than Golden. That is, Al golden won 9 games and Richt won 10.

Miami paid out all that money to have a coach who is one game better than Al.

He was burnt out. He should of taken a year off

I never said that about religion. I'll simply stated over and over that Mark richt use religion as a crutch. The hole rings and trophies collect dust horse**** ... we lost but we are still blessed by our Lord and savior.

Bobby Bowden is a very religious man, but he was an assassin.

Bill McCartney, the former coach of Colorado and the founder of the fellowship of Christian athletes, was a very religious man, but he was an assassin.

Dabo Swinney is a very religious man, but he is an assassin.

Neither of those coaches were ever referred to as "Reverends and Pastors," despite their strong religious principles. That is, because their desires to be great coaches radiated from them and their programs.
Bobby Bowden is not an assassin. He was a chicken sh!$. That's why he always went for a
Field goal and missed. He wouldn't throw the ball late in the game for a touchdown. He played not to lose and it bit him in the a$$

whatever... you can thank Pastor Richt for staying true to his Christian principals and donating 1 million to the building of the IPF, and doing the right thing leaving with no financial strings attached. He walked away from millions not to hamstring the administration's ability in pursuit of their next head coach.
As a Christian this is exactly what I thought he would do and have said as much several times on this forum. Part of being a Christian is to not do anyhing that would reflect negatively on the Christian message. Mark Richt Was burned out. His recent decisions reflected as much. The right thing to do was to resign. There’s no way he will do anything to hurt the U. Respect that and respect his motive for doing such a noble thing. Most people reject Christ and his saving message. That is the core reason for the anti Pastor Richt rhetoric we are seeing in recent days. It’s sad because few take the trouble to investigate the claims of Christ. If they did they may not accept him. But they would be more respectful.
