whatever... you can thank Pastor Richt for staying true to his Christian principals and donating 1 million to the building of the IPF, and doing the right thing leaving with no financial strings attached. He walked away from millions not to hamstring the administration's ability in pursuit of their next head coach.

**** him.....he donated his son's bogus salary. Good riddance. Worst Coach in Canes History.

Jesus, you kill your own point. You said in that other stupid thread that Manny needed to drop religion because that was Richt's problem. Now you're saying it's fine to be religious if you're an assassin. Well no sht. Like it's fine to be black or *** or whatever. If you're a savage who only cares about winning I want you on my team. Religion was never Richt's problem and has absolutely nothing to do with Manny being successful.

No, I said Manny needs to cleanse the players of the "bible thumper mentality."

You know, we are blessed even if we win or lose. Rings and trophies collect dust. That ****.

The man can certainly talk. I would suspect he will bring a more modern offense since he specifically said that and that makes me happy to hear.

James Coley does not run a modernized offense is just one thing I’d react to from what he said.

I’m excited that it seems we have a guy who wants to win above all else. I’m excited that we have a guy who embraces modern principles. I’m excited that we have a guy who will let coaches go when they don’t meet standards. I’m excited that he wants to get modern training techniques as well. Many do not realize the S & C Coach is with the players on an individual basis more than any other person in the program since they are with them all summer and offseason. That’s a very important position that needs to be taken as seriously as the OC.

To this point, I’m full speed ahead with this guy. The process was troublesome to me- as I’ve already posted- but I’m not holding that to Manny. From here on out it’s 100% behind this guy until it’s clear to me I shouldn’t be. I was pushing for Golden. I was happy with Richt. At this point I’m happy again but I want to see proof now.

We’ve got your words, Coach Diaz. Now let’s see your actions.

And no, it is not fine to be black and ***. ****outtahere with that bull****

“It’s actually January 2nd 2019, 35 years to the day since Miami won its first national championship vs. Nebraska,” Diaz said. “For the 9 year old kid who was up way past his bedtime and watched Kenny Calhoun bat that ball down and watched the Canes storm the field, the fact that I’m here standing in front of you right now, if you need more evidence that this is a ‘God’ story, that’s it."

I've been completely moved to tears. I'm reliving childhood memories with the coach.
Not only have I taken the bait. I'm on the hook. Good Luck El Jefe take us to the promise land.
Here we go again......

if he does good for him. Maybe there is a fine Christian academic institution he can coach at.

Incarnate Word University or Sisters Of The Poor come to mind.

"So, I think part of our job as a coach is to demand great execution, but at the same time, what can we do to make those other guys mess up?"

So, just to recap, Richt is the only person who thinks it's a bad idea to cause the other team problems and exploit their weaknesses. Literally the only one.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO LET BLAKE KNOW THIS IS NOT THE UNIVERSITY OF “MICHIGAN”

Golden takes that honor

Joe Rose: Well, it is very close. The judges are still deciding. We have a decision, we have a decision. And the winner of the worst coach in Miami Hurricane football history is: Mark Richt.

What was the deciding factor: 3 "four" game losing streaks in less than 3 years.

Joe Rose: Coach, are you disappointed that you did not get the award?

Al Golden: Are you kidding me, Joe? My pillars and core values did not allow me to have 3 "four" game losing streaks in less than 3 years.

Joe Rose: Coach, how does it feel being named the worst coach in Miami Hurricanes Football history?

Mark Richt: Praise God.

There it is, Folks.

First ACC championship appearance, first 10 win season in forever and got us an IPF ,didn’t leave the cupboard bare, isn’t suing us, nah Al Golden takes it easily

First ACC appearance? Miami actually forfeited an ACC appearance during Golden's tenure. 10 wins season and then a four-game losing streak, for the 2nd time. IPF? Miami was already planning to build that thing before Richt. Don't give him credit when it's not due. Didn't leave the cupboard bare? He didn't inherit a bare cupboard. Not suing us? We should sue him for hiring his son. LOL

Great thread derailed by foolishness.

I will say this having listened to the presser. I thought Manny was giving his version of the “I have a dream speech.”

I think there is a lot to like about this hire. I’ve learned great things about manny. Didn’t realize how little I knew about him. I am encouraged that he is seeking experienced play callers and thinking big. I’m glad to see he’s not putting on small name guys with no experience.

I always say this. “In life if you kiss enough frogs eventually one will turn into a prince.” We’ve definitely had our fair share of frog
Coaches. Hopefully we are due and Manny turns out to be right guy. Who can make tough decisions, stay radically open minded and put the program and winning over his ego or relationship.
