For example.... saying discipline needs to be more "player led" is absolutely right. But how do you GET that to happen? Not by wishing and hoping, which is about all he's doing right now.

Diaz can learn a lesson in leadership from Saddam Hussein. Hussein was always afraid that he would lose control of his army, so he tapped about 10 elite soldiers to head up his "secret police." They would rat out anyone who spoke against him, and that's how one man was able to rule with an iron fist.

Diaz needs some spies among the players. Some people he trusts who can rat out the ones not acting right. And then he needs to punish the offenders and truly instill some fear in the program.

Nothing but a bunch of lame *** horse**** excuses from this Head Coach, no leadership at all.

Sounds just like his worshippers on here making excuses on his behalf, he even reached into the "we're young on Offense" excuse bag smfh...

How ****** old do we have to be to beat FIU??? Do we need a roster full of 5th year Seniors to beat a team that lost 50-17 & gave up 471 yards rushing to Middle Tennessee State???

GTFOH PLEASE.
Isn’t it extra soft that he’s whining about fcking FIU flopping? All that flopping should have done was prolong the vicious beating. Then, if he had any guts he would have saved his timeouts till the end up by 50 to drag it out even more.

Should have punished those misfits on the field for flopping by throwing in the end zone up by 50. That’s how a man handles that. Instead, this clown Manure is looking for legislative assistance to limp past FIU.

I read an article awhile back about Nick Saban’s recruiting philosophy. Yes, he obviously can pick who he wants, but out of 100s of many talented players available, how does he pick the best 25 or so? He said he looks for players who are hyper competitive. Fact is that lots of teams buy recruits, but not all of them have players that play every game with maximum effort regardless of the level of competition. When was the last time Alabama played down to an opponent?

If you don’t have players who take losing personally, doing up/downs for jumping offsides isn’t going to fix it. As far as I know, 247 or Scouts doesn’t include “angry at the thought of losing” in their recruiting rankings. So being #5 in the country recruiting doesn’t mean much if those players aren’t embarrassed at the thought of losing to a G5 team. I don’t know if Richt is mostly to blame, but a lot of these soft players on the defense, which means Diaz had a big part in recruiting them. There just isn’t much you can do to make a non competitive person suddenly be competitive. Even all that stuff about being accountable doesn’t matter. Sure, everyone can be made to understand they are accountable for their mistakes, but that doesn’t mean they will take losing personally. The culture isn’t “broken”, the players just think a game is a game. Obviously it feels better to win, but life goes on if you lose. You can’t fix that with trust falls and jumping jacks.
Doesn’t seem like Manny is hyper-competitive.

It's a clear cut sign of weakness in leadership...

He's ****** tattle telling to the NCAA because Paul Davis made him look like a clown lol. "They need to change the rules because I have no answer for Tamiami State out coaching me!" Lmao smh

When they start flopping after every play you tell your guys to give'em something to really flop about knock the dog**** out of every bum on that field with a Blue uniform on. Hit them mutha****as in the mouth on every play & make them pay for disrespecting the game with this European soccer flop sh*t.

It's just more to add on to the mountain hill of evidence that Manuelito is gonna crash & burn for the next 4 years until he gets Dabo'd like Folden did & fired in complete embarrassing shame not being able to make eye contact with a Coach that takes him behind the woodshed.

The Lisping Leprechaun continues his clueless rambling. The weak leaders are always trying to abdicate their leadership duties. This dude couldn’t lead a fat fck to a buffet, so he keeps trying to make a bunch of weak loafing lame players lead each other.

You hear Amari Carter talking about how cold it’s going to be at Duke and matter of factly talking about the FIU disgrace like we lost a close game to Clemson, and you think these dudes are going to lead each other? Just so sad.
At least he changed “rebuild” to “rebrand”

What an absolute fraud

That happened last Saturday!

I still can’t believe this sorry sad sack loser was crying to the press about FIU flopping. That might be the gheyist **** I’ve ever heard, and I love ghey ****.

FIU? FIU? You’re shook from FIU delaying what should have been an inevitable beating?

In practice this week, Diaz says the team has continued to work on what has been a season-long struggle to improve player accountability.

“We’ve tried to put something in place this week, trying to get it to be a little more player-led,” Diaz said. “If there’s something like a guy jumps offsides, another guy will say ‘Let’s get five up-downs’, that kind of thing. We’re trying to get the players bonded to each other from their accountability.”

Seriously? It's the last game of the regular season.

That was rough to read. This man has reached Al Golden levels of dislike from me. He really used we are young on offense card and complained about flopping in the same interview. Just wow at this whole situation. If he doesn’t make any changes it’s going to be a long offseason.

Enos is going nowhere smh
Nope, he’s not unfortunately. If he was going to let go of Enos, he would of at least try to reign Enos in first. He would have got on his *** last game and told him to run the **** ball, but he does nothing. Or when we were down in Q3, go up tempo, but he just keeps letting Enos run his antiquated slow plotting O as if nothing is wrong. Manny and Enos can not adapt.
