DHucks,

I haven't seen anything in a while. I'm sorry if I missed a recent update, but how is Carter doing?

getting ready to renew those free canes seasons tickets from his son
 
He's doing really well. Went to camp last week and had a blast.

As far as tickets, we haven't heard from the university since my comments after the FSU game.

I think I got is put in the dog house honestly. We're planning on coming down for the Clemson game though.

Criticism of staff by anyone is considered a meanie to UM administration.

that's great news. remember, we've got a fishing date if you guys can swing it. the seas start to get rough by october, but there are exceptions so you never know. worst case scenario, we take a nice boat ride in the bay.

I started a thread after the game, and I thought I was pretty light handed, but they thought otherwise. They were very upset. The guy I spoke to wouldn't be clear on what I said upset who. They told me we were viewed as family by them and that the comments weren't something family would do.

I tried to apologize, they said we were cool after the apology, but never heard from them again.


No coaches, no admin, no players. Nobody.

Didn't start hearing from anyone until after Duke announced for the draft. We heard from him. Mrs Cassandra was always in touch, but obviously she wasn't apart of the admin, staff, or team.

Oh and for Burr, we only received tickets to two games, one sponsored by Make a Wish, the other the school. When we come down for the Clemson game, the university won't have anything to do with it. So no season tickets......

Do they read this forum? Of course they do.

Al keenly listens to all of the noise, all of it. In fact, there are some folks in the AD that are quite concerned about the increased amount of time spending online looking at this forum, fan twitter accounts, the comments sections on ESPN, and the papers, both local and national.

His first year, it was maybe an hour or so a day. Now, he is spending updwards of 8-10 hours a day online.

You didn't know that already? It's bad man- real bad.

It just sucks they are taking it away from Carter. If you said something out of line ok, fine. You apologized as a man should do. They aren't hurting you though, they're taking it away from Carter.
