I hope you can’t fight! What if Randy got dem hands doeI wish Randy was a HC again just for one day, so I can slap fire out his *** and make his head set fly off
His evals were weird because he was great with some of them. They were. He didn’t know what he was doing. Is he even coaching college now?
Jesus...I hope you can’t fight! What if Randy got dem hands doe![]()
Beason was willing to give up his spot switching positions to get Willie on the field.I'm pretty sure in the VT game in 05 when Coker was still HC, Beason was the starter at Willie's position. I don't think it has much to do with Romeo Davis at this point.
They could have probably lined him up at DE on passing downs, but Beason was definitely the better player.
Met beason a couple times here in north carolina. Really good dude.Beason was willing to give up his spot switching positions to get Willie on the field.
We all grew up together and were friends growing up (me and Beason from middle school days)... Beason was the OTHER homie i was speaking on that got held back early on and was better than the guy getting reps above him.

Or Coker??I’m not saying an AD should be involved in day to day operations, but for someone as talented as Hester, and for such petty reasons as Radio displayed, a legit AD wouldn’t allow something like that to happen and would step in
I don't have a dog in this fight. Just keeping it a buck.Although true, and maybe Hester embellished on some parts. Randy has shown that he likes to have players in his dog house. It maps to his personality. And also explains why he wasn't getting burn at CB his Junior year.
one of the coolest dudes you would meet. Been my friend since 7th grade. Same dude since then.Met beason a couple times here in north carolina. Really good dude.
Suprised me how down to earth he was. Real chill guy.one of the coolest dudes you would meet. Been my friend since 7th grade. Same dude since then.
Who is James Patterson?
LeSean McCoy was one of thoseThis is exactly right and one of the core issues with him as UM corch. Some of it wasn't even 'attrition' in a real sense. He'd take LOIs from kids who were never getting in, just to look good in Feb. recruiting rankings. Add to that the real attrition and the completely useless scholarships given to kids who had no chance of contributing at UM, and you realize what happened. Swiss cheese roster. Some good kids and evals, some awful evals, some desperation takes because of holes that emerged.
Onion is the same ******* who pulled the names off the jerseys of the 2007 team and subsequently went 5-7 and got absolutely embarrassed at Oklahoma and closed out at the Orange Bowl with a 48-0 loss to UVA. He should have never been hired and should have been dismissed after the 2007 season.
This is the same ******* who would not start Arthur Brown who then transferred to K State and became Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year in 2011 and Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2012.
You cannot make this stuff up. That is why I 100% believe Hester is telling the truth.
D Hester had 4 ints & 1 Fumble Return as a Sophomore. Lol. His reward? Sparingly played, used exclusively as a return man.
Thank you Randy, b/c had u not misused him, I’m not sure Hester would’ve fell to my Bears lap in the 2nd round. He was looked as a gadget player vs a CB/Def player. Thank u for that….
With that being said, Fck u Randy for tricking off season after season by not playing the best players. This **** started this trend as a DC & somehow, The Hecht thought it would be a grandiose idea to promote this ******* as our HC, huh? Forget this team was a l
hing stock & a National Embarrassment under Coker w/ this dude as a DC, plus he was a complete hole of the ****** to the players on his side of the ball.
And yet, here we are, 14 yrs later & we’re still ?ing decision making on from our admin when it comes to coaching hires. Unbelievable. Oh, and a FSU player is being advertised as our poster child for the upcoming baseball season. Lol. This school, man; inept from top to bottom.
And that's what they are. Total weirdos. Coker, Shannon, Golden, Richter and Diaz who may be the biggest weirdo of the bunch. Nutcase. Total lunatics.**** YEA!! Anybody who follows UM ball and knows how Randy is KNOWS it played out like that.. These corches have egos and they do dumb **** like that. I remember Hester leading the team in picks! I remember them opening the gates for the spring game and alllllllllll The kids and abuelas running to HESTER to get signatures! He had talent ANYBODY could recognize but only at UM we couldnt get him on the field! He was supposed to be on Reggie Bush/Ted Ginn impact player level, dude is a HOF in NFL but sits bench in college..
We still deal with this **** to this day, these corches keep players like Rousseau on bench til mid season and we only got 6 games because they want some bull**** their way.. Randy was PETTY AF, He would play guys like Glenn Cook over others because he felt they did it "the right way".. We are cursed with these weirdos mane..
So I was at Claims Jumpers in Long Beach w/ some friends & they had the game on (R.I.P to my favorite Claims Jumpers). I kept telling my boy (the one connected to USC) to keep his eye on #4, his name his Hester. That was the first time he ever saw him, & he literally said “This dude is like a baby Deion!” Oh yeah man, I remember that ‘04 GT game brotha. There’s 5 Canes game we caught at that Claims Jumpers, w/ me being the only Canes Fan.Rell, I was at the 04 game at Gatech when Devin had a late INT at Bobby Dodd Stadium, the UM crowd was mostly in the end zone section, on the upper level. Im being dead serious, Devin was actually playing safety and had to come across the field to pick off that pass -- he literally out-ran the football while it was in the air.
Before UM played Nebraska in the Rose Bowl that year, I took some coach Soldinger's friend and family to that Cal-Florida game the day before, he had a KO return and an INT -- and again, he basically out-ran the football across the field for that pick off. That game had all sorts of future NFL, a lot of USC guys, Kareem Brown, Baraka Atkins, Terrell Walden for UM -- but Devin's athleticism stood out
