Hard to say this far out. They are still going to try and flip Cooper if he commits to Texas. I don’t see the contract being an issue there if he changes his mind.@DMoney, so does this recruiting news mean we're going Portal shopping in the Winter window?
Between CJ Baxter, Jerrick Gibson & Christian Clark, who does he think he'd be starting over, assuming QuinTrey Wisner also declared at the end of the season?Hard to say this far out. This isn’t the main reason (we need to win more and recruit better), but I heard Cooper likes Texas’s depth chart better next year. They have missed more than I thought at that position.
Good question. Maybe he’s being told Baxter and Wisner both declare. I don’t think Texas is too high on the backups.Between CJ Baxter, Jerrick Gibson & Christian Clark, who does he think he'd be starting over, assuming QuinTrey Wisner also declared at the end of the season?
Other than Lyle, Miami doesn't have any RB that would qualify as a stone-lock to be RB2. Obviously Pringle is there, but he's likely gonna shirt this season & will still have to compete for his spot on the Depth chart next year just as much as DCoop would.
The pathway for early playing time at RB next year (2026) is much easier at Miami than Texas currently.
Unless... Nah... Don't tell me Fletcher isn't gonna declare?
they have had for the last 30 years and havent won ****Texas will have a better class than us when all said and done.
Baxter's best bet IMO is to hit the Portal after the season & reup.Good question. Maybe he’s being told Baxter and Wisner both declare. I don’t think Texas is too high on the backups.
Now we're talking about depth charts as an excuse man please. We played 4 backs last year and used 3 backs heavy. Like come onBetween CJ Baxter, Jerrick Gibson & Christian Clark, who does he think he'd be starting over, assuming QuinTrey Wisner also declared at the end of the season?

I don’t think that’s the main reason at all. I only mentioned it because they (and I) were surprised to hear that.@DMoney should they not have known that depth chart was going to play a factor when taking Brown/Mallory?
Okaythey have had for the last 30 years and havent won ****
Sounds like a political excuse for a reason he doesn’t want to sayI don’t think that’s the main reason at all. I only mentioned it because they (and I) were surprised to hear that.
I don’t know who he thinks he’s gonna start over. But I hear there’s a guy on the team called Benjamin Franklin, who is a great developer of running backs, linebackers and other positions like dt .Between CJ Baxter, Jerrick Gibson & Christian Clark, who does he think he'd be starting over, assuming QuinTrey Wisner also declared at the end of the season?
