People thought it would change things I said to myself what will stop the bag schools from paying more. My stupid *** had the OG glasses on and pretended “oh it’s Miami the city we have money”Homie, I was literally one of, if not the 1st one to sound alarms about NIL. I specifically said be careful what u wish for b/c w/o any parameters or guidelines, all this will do is incentivize bag schools to be even more aggressive. Yes, we’ve landed a highly ranked player here or there; but, the vast majority r being bought by schools that have exponentially more resources than we do.
Hence, y from the jump I’ve called for reforms. It’s putting a wider gap between the haves & have nots. I don’t go by class rankings, I go by avg. recruit rankings, & the data shows the bag schools r eating the avg. recruit rankings alive since the advent of zero guidelines NIL.
City my *** cfb is the same with NIL with the same schools. When we gave up control to the sec it was lights out for cfb. We will never be back we been dormant for too long and the sec and big have too much momentum and to much legacy to overcome imo.
