I know and I agree with all that but I chose him specifically because he's a local 5 star and a legacy at a position where we usually don't land local 5 stars. So yes it would be important in terms of perception and would also revive a local pipeline(Northwestern). Honestly, which of those other 5 WR who you prefer do we really have a legitimate chance with? I'm actually in the camp who believes we can and are in a good position to flip Tristen Keys but outside of that then who? Russell is local and a legacy. Yes he is raw but KB can and will develop him. We aren't going to go from where we are to where OSU is in WR recruiting in one off season. So let's concentrate on targets that are winnable to start then go from there.

I think we take 4 WRs this cycle and the following would be an elite haul

Calvin Russell
Tristen Keys
Jasen Lopez
Somourian Wingo

In my humble opinion, Jason Lopez is being slept on. That kid has Xavier Restrepo written all over him (PAUSE), but with more athletic ability. Don’t want to let him end up at FSWho or the Gayta, and make us pay down the line.

Davonte Freeman made us pay for not recruiting him enough and went and tortured us as a Hole. I don’t want that same scenario to take place again.

Russell, Keys, Wingo and Lopez would definitely be an elite haul.
