Lmao right on schedule..

A kid from Miami choosing the hometown team over OH/UGA.. must be all NIL..
That's not that farfetched.

The majority of highly ranked players from South FL don't choose Miami, so it's not completely out of the question to think that when one does that NIL could serve as the tipping point.

That's not a bad thing either, that actually should be the reasoning. The more NIL becomes the narrative for why kids choose Miami, the more attractive we'll be.

If the goal is to get as many great players as possible, money can be the incentive that pushes us over the edge.

It should be embraced with open arms.

1 billion %. I’m just glad I’m alive to see Miami….MIAMI….outbidding Ohio ******* state for five star players.

As they say, what a goddamned time.

The latest on Derrek Cooper

Ohio State has wanted to add either Savion Hiter or Derrek Cooper to Favour Akih in this recruiting class. They hosted Cooper for an official visit over the weekend.

I'm told the visit, from a pure visit standpoint, went really well. Cooper and his family have long liked what the Buckeyes have to offer from a pure football and development standpoint, not to mention academics, support staff, culture, and so on.

There also has long been a thought that the preference for Cooper and those close to him was that he would leave home for college, meaning Georgia and OSU were in a more favorable position than Miami.

Where I'm not feeling so great about things right now, though, is that in speaking with sources I think this recruitment is going to become a NIL recruitment. And I don't see

Ohio State (or Georgia) being the top bidder in this recruitment, from what I am told.

Now, the Buckeyes and the Bulldogs both have "competitive offers" for a RB of Cooper's caliber at the high school ranks, but with what I am told the Hurricanes have in front of the Cooper camp, and with this becoming the factor in this race, I would pick The U as of now for the talented back.
Is this the latest from "inside the woody"?

They just can’t say they took the L cause of relationships. All the NIL packages are probably about the same and bags at all the programs. Just say the relationship battle you lost it’s that simple.
