D'Eriq King now SMU QB Coach

King was all class in what was clearly a strange time in our programs history. Injuries and such. Always was a class act. A stabling force for us
Great use of the word stabling force during this Christmas season. Obviously when recruiting, he will tell an unwanted recruit there is no room in the inn.

Yeah the English language is not
My forte. Thankfully I am not a writer, English teacher, lawyer, etc..

Transferring to Miami to play for Lashlee might have been the smartest move King made.

I still remember him calling plays during the spring game when he was coming off surgery. I'm happy for him and I'm glad to see his coaching career taking off. Maybe one day we can have him calling a no-huddle offense at Miami.

I expect nothing less than the warmest of welcomes from SMU fans when we roll into Dallas in 2025 as Lashlee has realllllly incorporated a tonnnn of elements of his brief stay here into his head coaching tenure there.

He seemed like a good dude (and King definitely was) so I wish them the absolute best....unless it affects us in any way.

All we need now is for Alfred James Golden Jr. to get another ACC head corching job to complete the conference gauntlet of possibly facing Lashlee then Diaz the Golden in the same season.
Diaz going to be triggered - Mario interviews on the recruiting class still talking about how there was a lax of talent when they got here

Too bad we play these guys and I gotta root against them because it’s really cool what Lashlee is doing over there
