He's not the first to experience such a terrible loss, but it's way too young to lose a parent, be you a football player or any other student.
Hope he can always remember the good times and meaningful lessons--- and remember his good fortune in that not everyone has a dad that stays in their life even while living.

Feel for the him. Entering his senior year. Probably one of the most exciting periods of his life right now. Close to possibly achieving his NFL dream. Should have been able to share all of it with the man who helped him reach this point. RIP
