Truth is - I LOVE Miami football - got the UM fever in 1973. We were bad. I recall very well when Schnelly took over. Five years later - BOOM! Raised two sons who are rabid UM fans, and they're doing the same.

I never played football - then I was in Special Ops after High School, taking scalps.

You guys here know football. I don't know half the terms you guys use and understand. I DO understand offense and defense. In my arena - we didn't have a timeclock, there were no refs, no halftime, no punting - there were no rules, no out-of-bounds, and no timeouts.

In fact, there wasn't a second place. You won every time - or you didn't. Our documented win/loss ratio was 150:1, although a couple times after a bad day, it would get a bit closer to 100:1. Not a bad record, but it always took hard, honed teamwork. Working together without speaking, like fingers on a hand.

I don't know football like you guys do, but I know people. Tactics. How to lead men, and how to 'stop' men.

I'll continue to rely on those very informative men here who I can continually learn from. Many may not know it - but some of us thrive on learning from you.

If I ever learned anything - it was this: I can learn SOMETHING - from anyone. And I mean - anyone!

Here - it's football. And it's all pleasure on my part.

facts I like to learn from the gurus here, then forget wth they said weeks later lol. Then relearn it again, we always learn something here thats why I love CIS. Best fans in the world, craziest are knick fans though. Best most knowledgable fans have to be Canes fans.
