The returns from this class are proving this to be the case. These have been 3 of the biggest flips I can remember for us.see
Anyone can be flipped just like before

Im assuming Bryant didn’t sign any paperwork. That is what can muddy the waterssee

I've been saying after what JT did with Mesidor and Bain, he could surpass for DEs what Hartline was for WRs.This dline bout to be crazy
We flipping 5* left and right. We so ****** back.
It’s not those two posts. It’s the subsequent nonsensical replies that involve moving the goalposts, gaslighting and other passive aggressive commentary littered with lmao and lol every other sentence as you try to out-intellectualize some of the smarter posters on this forum. This was my first post that apparently sent these dudes off lmao.I have no dog in this fight, but sometimes you just have to sit back and acknowledge you were wrong and said some dumb ****. I do it all the time.
A guy that was supposed to pick us but picks Ohio St in a surprise, then is supposed to be on an OV but “doesn’t make it”…. Come on now lmao. We’ve seen this before… this is a smaller and small chance we end up with him. Kid just doesn’t seem to want to be a Cane. Better hope we land Bryant imo
And here is the 2nd one
Yeah so he’s sneaking around but won’t be seen in public with us lol…. We’re like the girl that believes the dude is actually gunna get divorced and leave his wife…& If he's been here twice that wasn't reported on?
We are getting closer and closer to where it’s time to **** or get off the pot with Jacob’s purely in terms of when we can realistically keep thinking we really have a shot with him. The longer it plays out without him flipping the less likely we get him. Will we keep recruiting and trying? Sure. With a guy of his talent it’s not worth giving up even during season. But...
What was wrong?
I was saying we don't want it dragging on before a flip. Then within 2 days we flip Bryant.
Add in with what he is about to do with Light, Blount, Lowe, Wilson, it going to be nuts.I've been saying after what JT did with Mesidor and Bain, he could surpass for DEs what Hartline was for WRs.
Though I agree… I would point out that saying Bain was underrated is bit of a stretch. Should he have been a 5 star? Absolutely, but he was a top 100 overall composite player… that’s pretty good lol.Btw remember i was saying these coaches yall claim have this great track record of developing position, for example Corey Redmond and Brian Hartline.....yeah it was really all about just getting the highly talented players in the first place. Yes there has been underrated players in it, but its mad easy to develop someone who is bigger and faster than the competition and get them go first round, even with average production in college.
JT had no track record other than his own career, in terms of putting guys in the league, now he does and he can recruit against anyone. Mind you Mesidor was not some elite recruit and Bain was underrated.
U would hope soYeah but kids dont have to sign NIL. The more the system continues, the more players are aware of these roadblocks. Also they may sign stuff but tell the schools they wont start collecting till such time to protect themselves. Atleast that's what I would advise kids to do. I will sign as long as contract only becomes enforceable after i start collecting would be the stance i take up.
U would hope so
But a lot of these kids probably need cash now
Esp with the way the country is going so I couldn’t blame them if they started taking in advance
The smart thing to do would be to get an advance from your nil agent but not sure that would
Be kosher

Saban threw everything at Bain, that tells me Bain was a 6 starThough I agree… I would point out that saying Bain was underrated is bit of a stretch. Should he have been a 5 star? 100%. It’s a monopolistic system that traps players in it - at least what the ncaa wants to do is.Correct.
And here's something to think about. I was talking with a co-worker from Wisconsin who is a big booster and connected to other alums up there. He admitted to me that Wisconsin ****ed up their own program by shoving these 2-year and 3-year NIL deals down the throats of the recruits. And all it took was Xavier Lucas challenging the system to break the illusion that these players have "no choice" but to sign the most oppressive deals.
And I know that other attorneys on the board such as @AtlAtty and @Fluffhead and @RVACane have similar sentiments. People can CLAIM that these NIL deals and rev-share deals are "negotiated" fairly, but the reality is that there is such a tremendous disparity between the parties. Schools like Wisconsin are among "the most powerful universities in the country", while many of these recruits are from poor families that have never hired an attorney in their lives.
Right now, through avenues like legislation and lawsuits, schools are trying to impose a NEW restrictive and one-sided system to replace the OLD restrictive and one-sided system. "Sure, we'll give you some cash if we can still treat you like our property." It's just ridiculous.
