Not sure what people dont get about that. The annual portal is the issue. There has to be some rules where u cannot just jump in every year. NIL been around before it was legalThe issue is not NIL or salary cap. The problem is the portal. Fix that and you fix (for the most part) CFB.
Rising salaries only hurts the real poors like fsu.I am going to sound like an old man but this transfer portal **** sucks.
Need a set salary cap and collective bargaining.
Otherwise, it’s going to continue as the Wild West.
They have it in the NFL so if that means schools lock out for a season to get things done, that is what needs to happen. You are correct, but why would the players sign up for that?
There isn't even an enforceable cap now since some of the SEC and Big10 teams refused to sign the participation agreement regarding the enforcement end of the Revenue Sharing Cap. Schools have also been offsetting Revenue sharing amounts with future 3rd party NIL deals. The CSC issued a memo the other day saying that isn't kosher, but since there is no enforcement mechanism right now it's the Wild West if the school isn't worried about being punished for "violations" they commit now when there's no enforcement.Rising salaries only hurts the real poors like fsu.
A cap is a rule. Rules are only as effective as their enforcement.
A cap equals a return to prominence of bama Georgia and LSU.
A true free market has allowed Miami to compete.
A cap will set us back greatly.
That makes sense - especially since they share an agent.Or the agent knows the coach is NFL bound…..
Yeah - I hadn’t thought about it in that way!!Rising salaries only hurts the real poors like fsu.

I don’t know man.
Scuttlebutt is Moore to the draft. He’s got a 1st round grade from a few third party agencies that estimate for the sake of agents/clients.
Oregon coming in late with big $ wouldn’t shock me.
LSU can’t **** in the same trough as TT and Oregon.
They got bro on campus!!!!!!!??????![]()
Leavitt commit to Tenn?Limit to 1 free transfer solves prob 70% of the issues. Not sure why that went away.
If he goes to LSU not sure how this helps us though with Leavitt to Tenn now? Still seems like Oregon and us for Raiola and if its Oregon that leaves us with who... Simpson now since Tenn is out? Or Simpson to Tenn and we take Leavitt lol? What a wierd *** game this all is
