Demond Williams enters portal

Nakos is addicted to mentioning Miami in every article for every portal QB lmao.

This kid is all LSU. Literally entered with a do not contact tag after already having a deal with UW.

Still good for us though, would rather have to compete with UW than LSU for a transfer QB.
He very well could end up at LSU but the no contact thing doesn’t necessarily mean you know where you’re going. The agent could just have the 2-3 schools lined up to bid and the kid doesn’t want to get overwhelmed when he enters . I’m sure they won’t stop teams teaching out.

No employment contract, even with collective bargaining and rev-sharing and… (whatever else they think of that officially turns college football into the nfl minor league), is “completely enforceable.” Have you never heard of an nfl player holding out or an nba player demanding a trade? A contract is not an agreement for indentured servitude.

It is funny knowing that, in about 5 years, the starting quarterback at UW will realistically be traded to UM in exchange for 2 freshman linemen and cash.
I won't pretend to be the legal expert, but holding out and demanding a trade both come with consequences, usually in the form of heavy fines, so players think twice before getting drastic.

The sooner this sport just drops the mask and embraces professionalism with things like trades and salary caps and stops clinging to amateurism the better IMO. It won't stop the shady ****, but it will help curb it to some extent.

I am going to sound like an old man but this transfer portal **** sucks.

Need a set salary cap and collective bargaining.

Otherwise, it’s going to continue as the Wild West.
Welcome to the support group. We meet on Wednesdays and Fridays at the top of the tallest bridge. I bring the coffee, you can be the baked goods guy.

And then we go back to bagmen(SEC/BIG) paying players under the table if you do salary cap. I think they need to go to 1 free transfer and after that you sit out(unless the HC leaves) And still get 1 more if you are a graduate transfer. I know it wont happen cause they will just sue.

Yeah, I am wrong with the option I had regarding the cap.

Death to the SEC!

I’m gonna laugh if this is the second b10 school we get sued by over a player.
That might be the last conference I’d want to be in right now. We will not be treated well there. I just know it. I can feel it in my bones. 🤣🤣🤣

There’s a lot of crybaby *****-made schools in there starting with Wisconsin.

This ****'s losing me fast

2 million more than what was likely at least 2 million + to begin with.

Hard to root for nowadays.
It’s definitely not the game we fell in love with. Meh. We’re rich so it bothers me a bit less than usual lol
