@Liberty City El @Coach Macho what are your thoughts on DVD? If we let go of Rumph I could see him being promoted. Do you think he would do well in recruiting in SFla or have similar results to Rumph?

Any S Fla names you can think of that would be homerun hires at WR or CB coach that are realistic?

Why does the coach have to be from Florida?

I like DVD but he's nowhere near ready.

Which means we'd promote him within 2 hours.

Enough of the inexperienced trial runs. Im sure they’ll get rid of Stubbs and promote Cooney. It’s a joke. We have 3 guys on defense already whose previous job was a HS coach or a GA. That needs to be upgraded.

Look at UCFs DB coach who is out recruiting us. Manny could use his connection to Duane Akina and bring his *** here if he would leave and if not I’m sure he’s got a good list of quality coaches.

I will agree that we need someone proven in Florida. The entire defensive staff sucks in Florida and are from Texas. We need a black coach who is gonna be able to go into the inner city and relate to these kids and their families.

I have said that.. Inner city black kids aren't relating to soft guys like Rumph, Stubbs, Banda, Patke, or Barry.... none of them can relate.. And we don't win enough to compensate for not having those people on staff.

I love my ex canes no doubt.

After 16 years of bull**** this admin owes the fan base the best position coaches that are available to be had at the time. Maybe DVD will be that one day, today is not that day. They do anything Less than this, then burn the Hecht to the ground because it’s the same old ****.

I think Cooney could be a guy that can do it but he’s just too inexperienced as a coach and our offense is already bad. I would say Roland Smith as well on the defensive side but again we would just be hiring another HS coach... at least he has some pedigree.. not that rumph didn’t.

How about we hire a real ******* coach from a real college program not promote some random ex-player with zero big time experience because he's a MiaMuh GuyY
But he knows the Miami way and has connection lolol so sick of hearing that nonesense! Administration cutting corners, he should be given a chance but pair him with a serious coach!

Your LBer coach..has to work well with your DB coach, (especially with the Striker role) more than ever....One thing about prior UM Great teams...The 2 mentioned were very close on the field..and off....our DBs and LBers were always in sync....Now all I see are LBers lost in space...with their Pass coverage deteriorating yr by yr....
