Jamal Carter- He is a strong Safety not a free safety.. Not that he cant play free safety but he is a better strong safety... He doesnt react as quick as Bush..DOnofrio had him lining up so deep it was hard for him to make a play on that deep bomb where he got the targeting call and on the TD.. I have the feeling Corch D told him dont let anything get behind you... he should have been playing 5 yards closer. But im sure hes coached to do that... He should be playing a hybrid role closer to the line of scrimmage... C

Deon Bush- Been Hurt every year I agree with the switching out...Never out of position..Great playmaker..Broke up the 1st pass I wamt him to add about 10 more pounds so he can last a season. A

Crawford Aint gonna lie he played a great game. He made some solid tackles. tackled high (sound familiar) instead of diving at ankles... Only if he were faster and tallerA

Jenkins- Didnt get much playing time and I dont know why. He seems to be the 4th safety

Burns- played a good game but it looked like he tired towards the end of the game..I still want him to be more physical at the line of scrimmage..He has the body to do that..If he had Tracy Howards attitude he would be a sure fire 1st round pick. Nice pick at the goal line..Looks like his ball skills are improved B+

Howard Yea he was picked on today..They tried to throw at Elder and got naa daa..They threw at burns and got a pick... They decided to go Howards way..As i said he is small and is not athletic as Elder..He is a slot corner in the NFL...HE gets bodied by bigger WR but he played a good game had some break ups... Hes still a good corner but will do better against smaller WR's and is better in pressman coverage where he can disrupt them at the line jamming was his best quality coming outta high school but he is not really allowed to do it that much here B-

Boy does everything right he is a 2nd round corner 1st if he was a little bigger he is a little light in the *** needs to breakdown when blitzing he has missed 2 blitz sacks this year.. costly miss cost us a stop only reason for the AA-

Grace Best linebacker on the team by far...so fast so explosive..needs to get a lil bigger and stronger misses a few tackles because of it but man is he good He is best in open space..I am not worried about any WR screen when hes on the field A

Kirby I will admit He plays fast he plays well chasing down plays but not as agressive when running at him... a lil soft.. When he has a chance to stop for no gain or 1 yard losses they turn into 4 yard gains with Kirby... Go look at first play from scrimmage it should have been a 2 yard loss Kirby hesitated and Newby gained 4 yards. He is not apocraphyl we have had worst. B-

Mccord- Lost some speed due to weight gain...He actually plays the pass well.... But has lost some explosion coming around that end... He was faster coming around that end freshman and sophomore years. A no win situation he needed to gain weight for an NFL career but I think his best option was to stay at 235 and try to play OLB but Darrion Owens is better than him.. Best thing for the team was to be a 235 situational pass rusher but that barely gets you into the league.. i aint mad I think he will make some big plays for us this year.. C+

Chad Thomas Playing out of position at times we have him lined up at DT is he a double digit sack guy? No Very few are in college. But his numbers are taking a little bit of a hit of what he is asked to do.. But you can see on film he has the strength and the pop.

Gotta go Ill try and finish the rest later

I agree id give carter a lower grade there were some plays were he was in position and whiffed, mccord to me is a one trick pony he cant set the edge at couldnt do it with lower weight

I thought Chad was a little underwhelming yesterday. He had plenty of chances to make an impact, I don't recall him getting loose once. Trent, McCord, AQM were disruptive on pass plays. ****, even Jenkins was getting loose on pass rush. Chad should dominate guards, he needs to get going.

agree with everything except the weight gain for some guys. our strength and condition program has not been able to gain lean weight and maintain speed so for mccord and grace to gain weight, then you can kiss their speed goodbye. and who cares about mccord needing to gain weight for the NFL. we need him to play at an effective weight now. let him gain or lose weight as needed when he hangs it up. never understand that mentality. sure it's nice to have the NFL pipeline. but you don't sacrifice wins for making sure everyone is prepared for the NFL. the goal is to win now.

AQM was in the backfield **** near every play with them holding the sh*t out of him.... Chad too. McCord was all game as well, he missed quite a few sacks to be honest.

They held AQM every play. A lot of the holds were arms full extended so idk how the refs didn't see it

Yearby maintained speed well.

Agree on everything vernstradamus spoke. I'd personally like our rush ends to be more disciplined

Far too many times they'd rush to far up the field giving Armstrong time to step up and locate a receiver.
