We used to consistently rank 5-10 on this list even after some of the glory days players retired. I’m going to finish my recruiting class look back now that we are past Notre Dame, but here is a sneak preview: Richt and Diaz were catastrophically bad recruiters for us:

Love the podcast Danny!

Pull the stats from one of Golden's years.

I think we lost 5 games, and then still had like 5 players selected in the first two rounds of that draft!!

I'm surprised we have 22 tbh without counting them 1 by 1 I would have guessed in the 15-18 range

How many actual difference makers? 4, maybe 5? Rousseau, Stevenson, Njoku, Kinchens, and Ward. Calais still going strong and Perryman is solid... both as rotational guys.

This can be attributed to the lack of investment in the program from a university perspective while other schools heavily invested at the same time. I expect our numbers to increase reflective to the investment. We are now seeing those results on our field. The NFL will be the next domino.

Phillips if he stays healthy, otherwise yes lots of rotational guys... off the top of my head:

Berrios
Garvin
Ford
Homer
Ivey
Jenkins
Brevin Jordan
AQM
Leonard Taylor
James Williams

someone like deon bush may still be around, will mallory, matt lee and jalen rivers all pretty young still.

Ragone.

Richt was an overrated recruiter dating back to his Georgia days. Their classes (and influence in south florida) exploded once he left.

Him clamping down on the bag game defiintely doesnt change my opinion of that.
Richt's advantage was always that he knows how to run a program and is an elite human being
