DE Damon Wilson II commits to Miami

With this pick up, our defense as a whole could be better now, reloaded on the Dline, with a veteran secondary unit coming back, only question mark is linebacker, and who steps up at nickel.

If Wilson gets those feet right around the Edge, he’s a pure nightmare. Was watching Mesidor’s foot plant and dip compared to just a couple years ago, and he went from very good to a demon.

Hope this Wilson dude puts in similar work.

JT changed Mesidor life, he looked good before but now he looks like a completely different player.

I think Wilson is twitchier than both but not technique and power wise, thats what i love the most. If JT can teach him how to leverage his speed to a bag of counters he can be a monster

Use that speed to surprise the tackle with power because they’ll be off balance trying to get in front of the first step, learn the art of the hands

Agree, and because of that, he won’t be quite as good against the run, but I believe Damon will actually be better in the sack department.
