Gaby could also be talking out his ***. Not sure why you seem to get so hung up on the coaches titles. Ultimately they are only there so they give guys more pay. Does the Passing Game Coordinator get to help design the passing gameplan sure but ultimately he doesn't get to override the OC during the game. Happens in the regular world as well. I have a title that doesn't completely fit my actual role in the company but it allows them to put me in a higher pay bracket and keeps HR happy .

LOL, it's become a peeve of mine. I completely understand the rationale behind bestowing one with a seemingly prestigious label. I get it. Folks have egos that need to be stroked, especially in sports. It's just annoying.

I'll get over it, but I'll always scrutinize a position coach for having a hybrid title.

Honest question and I may have missed it in this thread already so I apologize in advance...
How good of a coach is JT? Clearly he was a **** of a player, but I know nothing of his coaching skills.
