He seems like the best kind of psychopath. I was worried with Thomas and Scott leaving we'd lost that. Nope, seems we get it again.
Could absolutely be wrong here, but I feel like Scott has a very long wingspan, Thornton looks more proportionalScott is only 1 inch taller but 10 pounds lighter lol.
Thornton is 5-11 201, Scott is 6-0 190
Scott not as tall as listed and is smaller than this kid. Fitz is listed as 6’1 and looks taller than poyser and Scott and some of the cornersHe’s like Malachi Toney height wise (pause). I thought he would be similar to Keionte Scott in terms of measurables (pause).
20 percent missed tackle rate?? Where did you get that number? Cause buddy had 84 tackles - 84! If he’s missing 20 percent of his tackles he is still a genius at diagnosing plays! 84 stops would have led all Miami defenders by a decent margin! I would take that with our swarming defense any day! And he played in at least 4 less games than us!I love the boom and the enforcer type attitude but as I was saying on the other thread before it closed, staff has to work with him to clean up his 20% missed tackle rate and 6 tds on 31 chances. If that happens, dude is straight Ronnie Lott.

For reference, Jakobe had a 19% missed tackle rate and Keionte had a 20%have fun
And no, you don’t want DBs to miss 20% of their tackles and/or have a high TD % rate. That’s not good and even worse when it’s the last line of defense missing those tackles.
How about that TD%?For reference, Jakobe had a 19% missed tackle rate and Keionte had a 20%
Not excusing it. Just some context.
Tbh I didn’t even notice that part of the comment, there were 4 comments all talking about the tackling. Obviously much worse there lolHow about that TD%?
**** yesMan this kid is knock back tackler and knows how to fill the alley. Pause
have fun

Unfortunately I can’t determine the future. It worked out for Thomas with coaching. Hopefully the same for Thornton. But to act like this isn’t a concern (not implying you) is foolish. I like our 26 team. Going into the spring, we look to be one of the best 3 teams.Ya your point is well taken about not wanting this kid on an island in coverage but just adding to the Jakobe thing, look at how bad that miss rate was before UM lol… the 19% was a career low for him!
I really think Thomas is the comparison here, hopefully it works out anywhere near the same.
Yeah…in many of those clips he is playing outside LB and not really lined up opposite a WR.He looks slower than Scott, so his impact on the defense MAY be less than what we got from Scott.
Now, if Damari decides he wants that role….
Damari? He still play football? He looks slower than Scott, so his impact on the defense MAY be less than what we got from Scott.
