Lane wouldn't have put up with this so long....
Lane would've know TVD was trash day 1 and had a backup and a backup to the backup ready to play

Miami played 3 dogs and 4 loss A&M the first 4 weeks. For me the first 4 weeks were a fluke. This team now looks like last years offense.I want this guy to prove the first four weeks are not a ******* fluke.
5 games of straight dog **** is very concerning.
Anticipation.Between the pick in the endzone against NC State and the obscene underthrow against UVA, it'd be really easy to convince me that something is significantly physically wrong with TVD, and for whatever reason we still think that gives us the best chance. Those were insane misses. So, either he's really hurt, he's gone Rick Ankiel, or he's shaving points like in Blue Chips.
i believe he's more injured than anyone knows. He looked pretty healthy pregame. Don’t get me wrong he’s not 100%, but he’s not last year hurt. At least he doesn’t show it in warm ups when he’s moving around and throwing 30 yards without and issue. I think it’s mental.

then he shouldnt be playing. Continuing to play him is a disservice to him and the team. Borderline malpracticei believe he's more injured than anyone knows.
And that is affecting his mental
U can only cook with what u got is all I’ll sayMost would acknowledge Tyler is not the only catalyst to our failures. The play calling has been bad at best.
Go buy better ingredients. Don't go get a Judd is all I'll say.U can only cook with what u got is all I’ll say
I dont think its being discussed enough how much our lack of mobility at QB is affecting the way defenses can play us. TVD was not the most mobile guy to begin with and now with the injuries he is a statue that also poses absolutely no threat to run. On running plays, ends are completely crashing down on the backs with literally 0 fear that the qb pulls it and runs. In the passing game they are rushing 3 and dropping everybody halfway to china. And even with just three guys then can eventually track him down. If no pass catcher occupies the middle zone its complete abandoned with resources used to smother WRs. You could NEVER play that way with a 90% of the P5 starting qbs. They would just take off and run for 10 yards every time.I think having a statue as a quarterback is really giving him fits. Tune masked a lot of **** last year, both on and off-schedule, with his mobility. That element is completely gone with TVD, obviously, and I think he’s struggling trying to tailor an offense with a kid who can’t move. And him being totally broken mentally sure isn’t helping either.
I've seen plenty of statues at QB have success. There's something far more wrong than TVD not being able to run. One of those is the inability to run into a 6-7 man box. For a team that is run first and basically rooted in ground and pound to only be able to gain 5-6 YPC in those situations... basically guarantees no success in the passing game.I dont think its being discussed enough how much our lack of mobility at QB is affecting the way defenses can play us.
