Dawson is fed up with the inside run talk

Miami lost to Louisville because Carson Beck threw FOUR INTERCEPTIONS and couldn't accurately deliver the football even if he made the right read(which was rare). If you watch the film, he was making poor reads all night long, there were a ton of big plays on the table, but you had to be patient and take the check downs and intermediate stuff., It was the old GT strategy from last year, see if Beck could tolerate long marches and he didn't, hence why he was throwing up prayers.

Intelligent, competent people are tired of having to humor people that obviously don't know a **** thing, but swear they do. Dawson probably reached his limit and spoke accordingly. It was a dumb question, and he answered it in a way that answered the question while also showing what he thought of said question. Had the reporter asked more about formations and the like, I'm quite sure Dawson would have had a different answer, because that's an actual legit criticism.

"Hey Coach, last year, the formations utilized were more about creating space through alignment, this year, it's a lot more condensed. Do you believe that some of the difficulties in the run game are a result of the increased traffic and bodies?"
Its running the ball inside. Fk off with all that bull$h!t. He acting like we blind. He acting like the FBI telling us Old dude neck stop the bullet form a gun that tears through Elk bones. If you dont wanna answer questions, then resign. Thats that. Same people complaining about players getting paid, wanna cuddle these coaches acting like O's.

Beck was forcing the ball because we couldn't run for krap. The root of our problems was the inability to run the ball.

We’re ******* boring on O. So when things are not going well it’s very glaring.

A little variety wouldn’t hurt to keep shooting backers honest. teams get downhill on us in a hurry the last 3 games in the run game. We either need some play action shots deep (but our WRs don’t get a lot of separation) or we need to get a bit more creative in the run game

Get in the Pistol and give it to lyle or Pringle a few times a game. U still get ur big guys moving downhill but gives another split second of blocks to develop and allows good one cut and go guys time to pick that hole

He threw 2 his 4 interceptions on 1st and 10, and one other on 2nd and 10, but go off.

Dawson has been a failure at every oc job he has had that why he runs back to Dana each time after he fails. I can’t wait till this dumb hick leaves, someone please take this dumb inbred away.

Cam Ward made him.

Trumpycane thinks you should check Holgersons career after Dawson left

And this play… the defensive ends job is to set the edge which will make the running back cut back inside. Literally first thing you learn playing ball. Funnel everything back inside where you have help.

wut lol. Edge is supposed to stop the end crashing in, interior is supposed to push to the second level, it's all right there.

Watch this play where Toney goes in motion at the 5:00 mark of this video. If Beck has the option to hand this off Toney is gone. If the defense shifts then he can give it to Brown. This is the type of stuff he can utilize on every drive to open up that inside run so the defense isn't always collapsing. Like...he has athletes. Use them as a threat and force defenses to choose.

It's that **** simple.

One thing I know we’re never going to see after hearing that press conference is a toss sweep…

What Dawson and Mario think they have:

What they actually have:

I think I'm done with Mario, and when I say done I mean done believing that we'll be anything more than a slightly above average ACC team as long as he's our coach, as of today Mario is 14-13 in the ACC, The ACC is weak bro, we took this guy over a coach that would probably smash the ACC at MIami ( Yes Lane Kiffin) who's probably about to become the highest paid coach in America BTW Lane was 17-12 at this point in a way tougher conference. I'll always be a Cane fan I can't help it, but I think I've came to the realization that Mario aint it, dont get me wrong, I hope we win out go to the ACC championship game and make the playoffs all of that, but I'd be surprised if any of that happened.

What have you done for me lately is the biggest thing in sports. Miami is 17-4 in the last 2 years combined, as things stand. 2 of those losses were to teams that won 10+ games. The other 2 were GT(who took UGA to 7OT) and a Louisville team who very well could also finish with 10+ wins this year.
A reminder that Mario is 3-1 vs the SEC while at Miami, and 2-0 vs teams with a common opponent as Lane Kiffin, who is 1-1 (Beat 2023 TAMU by double digits when Lane won by 3...Blew out UF last year while Lane lost).

Yeah and one coaches in the SEC and the other Coached in the weak Pac-12, and now is in the weak ACC. They are not the same, In a year where you dont have to worry about FSU or Clemson he may not even make it to the ACC championship game

Are you forgetting that Lane also coached the Premier program in "the weak Pac-12"?
Lane took over from Pete Caroll and was 28-15 getting fired after 5 games into year 4. Mario took over for Willie Taggart, went 35-12 in his 4 years, and got hired away.

That’s also such a lazy argument. That slept walked through about 10 second halves bc they were already up 30 at halftime.
Michigan had *checks notes* zero 30-point leads at halftime that season. Their biggest halftime lead was 28 and they did that......twice.

LOL.

I love how clueless you people are yet also strangely arrogant.

Yeah and USC was on probation, he only lost 3 more conference games than Mario, and had 6 less wins with Major scholarship reductions, Mario can't even dominate the weak *** ACC while Clemson and FSU are down...
You keep having to come up with new excuses because you keep leaving out facts.

USC was also one of the top 3-or-4 programs in America when Lane got that job. He was preseason #1 in 2012 and went 7-6.
