Sounded like he was eyeing the job.

Problem with these MAC coaches is they have MAC connections. Assistant coaches are important. MAC coaches are how you get Mark DOnofrio and Paul Williams and Jethro Franklin on staff

No more temple coaches who bring along temple assistants. We need a football guy with connections


Wanny is a defensive genius with ton of coaching connections and knowledge. He would assemble a monster staff

Back when we had a real admin, he was choice #1 ahead of even Butch....but they from the same Jimmy Johnson tree

Dude would be a good fit for Miami

How could you tell? I had no idea what Sylvester the Cat was saying during that telecast. It sounded like he had a mouth full of mashed potatoes.

No. Wanny might make a good coordinator under a good coach but he is not head coaching material. They said if given enough time he would turn Pitt into Temple. Plus did you see him when he coached the Dolphins? His wants a three yards and a cloud of dust offense. The man never got the memo that the forward pass is legal. He plays a vanilla offense and thinks punts are ok. Not just no, but **** no.

Wannstaedt is miles ahead of al golden. but that doesn't mean much, because so is every other coach that gets paid to do this job. Compared to the least talented, worst motivating and least productive coach anyone has ever seen, everyone is likely to do a significantly better job than the worthless good for nothing hack job golden and staff.

That doesn't mean he is the man for this job though.

It would take a lot less paper to compile a list of coaches worse than Folden than compile a list of coaches better than Folden. Carl Selmer, Curly Hallman and Richie Kotite are better than Folden. Let that sink in for a minute.
 
You jerks better be quiet before someone in Hecht hears this crazy talk and offers Wanny ANOTHER lifetime contract.

He would have to carry 15 RB's because he would run them into the ground. Just ask Ricky Williams.

Wanny is a Canes legend. Jimmy Johnsons right hand man. Head of some of the greatest Miami defenses of all time and the 1987 championship

Did you see Schnelly at Baltimore? Saban at Dolphins? Total failures. Fact that Wanny had the opportunity to head coach Dolphins and Bears means he's a real football guy.

Big league.
