Dave Hyde 6 PM Update: Richt Leading, Butch Long Shot

The real question with Richt, perhaps more than anything else, is his hunger. I wonder if the interview answers that question or not.
 
Mullen SUCKS. Urban doesn't even run that offense anymore and why did UF hire Mceltooth if Mullen is so great? After Prescott, just like Fuente with Lynch; they are trash. I swear, Miami can only hire people that have been fired or failed miserably at other spots. And Dave Hyde is a pos who hates Butch and is pro Mario.

What's up Canes? Just thought I'd drop by your message board and check the latest news on the coaching search. I hope you guys hire a great coach but for selfish reasons I hope it's not Mullen. There is no doubt in my mind that if he were hired by Miami that within 3 or 4 years you guys would be looking at the playoffs. I say this because of the talent that Miami brings in and it pretty much recruits itself. It's next to impossible to get top rated recruits to come to Ms unless they are from Ms. When you are surrounded by Lsu, Bama, Georgia, Tenn, Fl, naturally Ms is not as enticing. I like Richt and he seems like a great guy but with his recruiting and talent, he should be winning the East. Mullen on the other hand has taken mostly 2* and 3* recruits with a couple of 4* and turned us into a competitive program to which we have never been. Good luck to y'all and hopefully everyone gets what they want.
 
Mark Richt is my choice. The fact he is available is unbelievable. Great recruiter. Great record. Never a down year. A Cane from PBC.

Second Choice is Dan Mullen.

He has been coaching 13 years since at a strong program and hasn't won ****.

And won the Sugar again in '07 finishing #2 in the nation, and finished ranked #4 in '12 and #9 in '14

Richt, Butch, or Mullen

God that's a great trio to pick from - much better than the poo-poo platter of Chud, Mario, or Schiano.

Foley and UF didn't give Mullen a sniff after they fired Muschamp because of his personality. It really wasn't an indictment of his ability to coach football. He's known to be abrasive but in a bad way. It's one thing to be confident and want to eat your opponent's children, and entirely another to be a complete ***-hat to the AD and the BoT.
 
I'm not saying Hyde is right, but I love how when you ****ers disagree with someone, it's automatically, "he/she doesn't know ****. he/she gets his/her news from this board." STFU.
