How can Butch be out and Schiano in? Nightmare, disaster, **** show, etc.

Mullen would do well here imo.

We dont have the qb for his offense so he would have to tinker with it..he would actually have to lean on Yearby,Gus Bus, Walton more so....which i would like either way for the dive play.....

The group of Butch, Mullen, Schiano, Richt im not angry with either...each has flaws imo...
Ive always been a fan of Schiano defense and after reaidng the article posted on here.....i feel like dude just dove into see what messed him up after the bucs...he pulled a Urban and has just been going to colleges and picking up stuff....he knows he was a douche and it aint work for him. But honestly i feel our guys need a guy that strikes real fear.....too much choir boys in camp and that includes coaches. No fire but for a few guys here and there.

Richt i like the least.....BUT I do agree he would STABILIZE the program. We wont be in disarray and he would be bale to tap harder into his connections in GA for a few recruits which would be good.He is SOFT, and hasnt had any FIRE for awhile..maybe getting his *** fired may change..but based off his comments since it doesnt look like it affected at all....He basically was collecting a check the last few years (thats never good)

Butch would be a definate spark to the community um. HE'S A GREAT TALENT EVALUATOR. Kids/Parents locally would be on board. He also seemed to have done what Urb did and has been hittin schools for ideas etc... He has FIRE....dude wants this job. He and MUllen are guys i believe really WANT this job.

Butch #1 for me....

i wont be mad with the others too much though. Richt is the least liked for me.

Cristobal i would hate.....
 
Richt is a good recruiter and good coach. UM could do a lot, lot worse than Mark Richt. I think we'd win a lot of games with Richt the first 2-3 seasons but then have frustrating losses most seasons going forward.

OF coaches actually in play?

I put Butch over Richt, but only slightly. Maybe a toss up. Then Mullen.

Schiano and the rest shouldn't even be considered.

What's up Canes? Just thought I'd drop by your message board and check the latest news on the coaching search. I hope you guys hire a great coach but for selfish reasons I hope it's not Mullen. There is no doubt in my mind that if he were hired by Miami that within 3 or 4 years you guys would be looking at the playoffs. I say this because of the talent that Miami brings in and it pretty much recruits itself. It's next to impossible to get top rated recruits to come to Ms unless they are from Ms. When you are surrounded by Lsu, Bama, Georgia, Tenn, Fl, naturally Ms is not as enticing. I like Richt and he seems like a great guy but with his recruiting and talent, he should be winning the East. Mullen on the other hand has taken mostly 2* and 3* recruits with a couple of 4* and turned us into a competitive program to which we have never been. Good luck to y'all and hopefully everyone gets what they want.

Good with Butch or Mullen. Schiano is in Cristobal territory for me as in "I'll be done." Richt seems like a good guy, but he underachieves with the talent he has and he's too **** religious and passive and seemingly has no fire at this point.

Pretty Fair. I'm about even on Richt, Butch, Mullen. No to Schiano and Cristobal. Hard to discuss too many others, yet.

You were right on Golden. I gave him too much time.
