How many EE can we count to last years class?

i want to say 6

16 signees that made it in last year. I'm pretty sure graduate transfers don't count, so we can have 9 EE's to backdate to last year.
26 commits minus the 8 early entries equals 18 commits for 2014.
This means we can still get 7 more commits.

We have 56 scholarship guys on the roster and an 82 scholly cap so if we sign 25 on NSD plus the 8 EE's 7 current guys have to go bye bye, or get funded through ulterior methods, like graduate fellowships.
We have 6 guys who will be 5th year seniors who may not count against the scholarship cap if they have graduated and are in grad school.

Key thing is if we sign a full class there will have to be some attrition.

There's Perry, who will be a 5th year senior.
Then you have fringe guys like Corey King, Hunter Wells, D'Mauri Jones, Hoilett, Blue and Gray Crow.
Jones, Hoilett, Blue and Crow will be redshirt sophomores. I know it seems like they've been here forever, but they really haven't and you can't cut the cord on redshirt sophomores who have spent 2 years developing, because this might be the year they put it together.
King and Wells are key depth players.

Not a lot to work with in terms of attrition.

People don't seem to realize that playing 9 scholarship players down last year has really hurt us.
Not to mention that Fentress and Kidd were part of our 76 scholarship players this year.
We were down 9 schollies this year but it was really 11 if you count the schollies given to the 2 walkons.
That's like a 14% player handicap.

Butch knew his probation terms while recruiting, while Golden had to deal with uncertaintity which IMO is worse.

We've basically been on probation since August 2011.
