Kaaya is everything Edouard claimed he would be. It's nice seeing our future QB already taking a leadership role and being proactive.
If you told me a few weeks ago Kaaya would commit to Miami with lone offers of us and SDSU and end up being my favorite recruit in the class I'd tell you to slap yourself in the face. Now if you told me that, I would buy you a drink. Kaaya is the ****ing man and is already showing his leading abilities as a recruiter for our team. The character he is showing now leaves me with ZERO doubt that he will take care of business on the field and create a seamless transition from his predecessor.

+1
Kid is easily my favorite recruit. Has totally taken a leadership role for this class and has done everythign Edouard said he would do and never did.
Not just that, forget the SDST bullsh*t. This kid just won the Golden Gun at the Cali Elite 11. Arguably the best state to produce QBs in the country. Based on those twitter comments it sounds like UCLA is trying to bag him, and he told them to pound sand.
This is the kind of kid that somehow flew under the radar, and now is BLOWING up since Coley found him. And man I DIG this kid's excitment, leadership and loyalty. Count me in on the Kaaya bandwagon.

I think the fact that he's NOT, and is a straight baller, will intrigue plenty of local talent going into the fall. You can bet the interested WR's/TE's will be keeping tabs on him from afar. and the fact that he isn't local, keeps the local drama, and the initial eye of the national recruiting scene out of the equation. I suspect Kaaya's stock will skyrocket, but his sights are set on the Gables, like Olsen the year before. The out of state stud QB's will be solid commits and bring the talent down with them. If no other QB's step up to the challenge, I ain't even gonna be mad.
He's our Dobard and Gall of this class.
The more I see and hear from Kaaya the more I think we should just go with one QB in this class and bring in a guy like Flowers as a QB/Ath. We only have Morris leaving and will have Williams, Dewey, Crow, Olsen and Kaaya next season. We don't want the position to be too crowded that we can't recruit someone else next year. Plus Kaaya looks head and shoulders better than both Edouard and Rosier.

You're never too crowded at that position. Coley knows who he wants and if it isn't the qbs here he will recruit them now
