What was up with Vinny that game? Did you guys hold any animosity towards him? Or was all forgiven? He just had one of those nights...

Or did someone take his ******* scooter and shove it up his ***?

Vinny was my teammate in Tampa also and we are friends to this day...I love him....BUT.....coach johnson and i both know....we destroyed PSU that night..killed them...really still hard to swallow........in the lockeroom alonzo highsmith called him out..."20 guys played there ***'s off tonight.....1 didnt......"...then he started crying.....it wasn't cause we lost....it was cause we lost our place in history as the greatest college football team....we had it...and lost itsileo and vinny testeverde.webp

Dan, seriously, what did you think about the offensive play calling last year, particularly during the 4 game losing streak? We had a big squabble on here between guys saying CMR wasn't adjusting to suit the skills/talent we had vs guys all out blaming Kaaya and/or the O Line.

BUTCH DAVIS asked me to speak to his team also.....look...I love Butch...but would Canes fans mind?.....if they dont want me to i wont

I'd say go for it Dan. Just let em know its still always about this U!

By the way, I'm from Lakeland...I used to listen to you every morning on 620WDAE. You were by far the most polarizing figure on the radio for all those years. **** I used to love you some mornings and hate your *** others! I gotta say tho, I couldn't handle some of the Canes bashing you put down on the radio at times. Yes, I knew we were struggling, but you gave Gators and Nole fans waaaaay too much ammo on me and my Canes in the day to day. You know how tough it is already being a diehard Cane from central FL?

That's all in the past now, I LOVE your passion...you got me on board. I appreciate all the posts and info about my old Canes. I was born in 80, and my first experiences watching my team was when you were there. Some badass dudes!

thats my point...I had years like sapp and cortez...lol...thank u...u just justified my year...all I want....and in no way am I ever saying I was a better pro...but as a CANE DT...very few had better years

You all complaining about Dan posting sound like Al Golden slurpers...this is gold having him interested in interacting on the board and not incognito...

Hey Dan I started listening to your show in 2002, when you were in The Orlando area. You gave away tickets for the Miami and FSU game. It was in Tallahassee. The question was what years did the Canes win the championship. I called in and won. That was my first trip to Doak unfortunately Larry didn't have the kids ready to play and we lost 10-7. But I loved the atmosphere. I still listen to you in San Diego even though I'm in Clearwater area. Oh yeah by the way thanks for calling Donna Shalala phony *** out on the air when you were on WQAM, you were saying what a lot of Canes fans that can actually see things for what they were, wanted to say but didn't have the platform. Thank god she's gone. The this football team will be kicking *** and taking names again.

let's be really clear: as bad as vinny played with the INTs', Gary Stevens lost the game. Period.

remember Alonzo in the 4th quarter? The guy played out of his mind and took over the football game. Put the tape on if you don't believe me. He was unreal, but not surprising as that was the kind of player he was.

With the clock stopped and a minute to go in the game, we had the ball third and goal at the four. ... and one timeout still remaining. What Gary should have done, and everybody in the country knew it: give the **** ball to Alonzo on 34 lead and he would have cruised into the end zone. End of game. End of story. UM wins the national championship as it deserved.

instead, that chain smoking nitwit, with the intellect of a bus driver, must have had a nicotine brain fart. He calls a 70 series passing play, Vinny takes an unforgivable sack, and we have 4th and impossible from the 14 yard line. Dumbest call in the history of UM football, bar none. I will NEVER forgive him for it.

He did manage to help us win in 1987, but i will never forgive him for that call in the Fiesta Bowl.

I will tell U what we have been missing since 2002 season...."U learn to strive for playing the perfect football game...knowing full well u will never play that game....so U learn to live with greatness.....if u strive for greatness U learn to live with being average".....NOW u have to ask urself...who do U WANT TO BE!

I understand...that makes sense, but dammit that was a tough pill to swallow when all the made Gator fans would tell me "See even your Cane love Sileo knows you guys suck!" In my head I always knocked them the **** out...

Its really an honor to have you here though...this is what makes CIS great. That and the Gator Tears thread RVACane!!

Im sorry but Im a LUKE guy!....and will always be....he was great to me....he took care of everything for us....to ignore him as a cane is ignorant!

Even after Luke threatened to rat UM out to the NCAA if Butch didn't start Ryan Collins? Even with all the trash talking of UM he's been doing lately and eating Tim Brewster's butt so publicly and thoroughly on Twitter?

If this is Sileo, he was a great player for a year at UM, as he has reminded us 57 times. But his ripping of UM on the radio and sucking up to the gator went far beyond Al Folden. Now go ahead and tell us again how you were the best athlete on the 1987 team. LMAO
