Don's firing was THE biggest head scratcher after that LSU game. With that level of success, you do not get axed. My biggest problem was Miami's inability to look outside of the program for successful coaches. We should have been able to hire anyone after Davis, but the players made their case and the candidates were poor. Wannstedt and Alvarez? Should have made a Richt like hire years ago.
 
amen...i played with randy and really like him...but UM should NEVER hire ON THE JOB TRAINING HC's......we are not a stepping stone job...we are the biggest talent program for the nfl in the country...its proven every decade!!......have to have experienced HC's in the program..i am 100% behind coach richt!!

see...im not sure about both...both have dont nothing......in 83 after bernie was destroyed by the gators...there was a thought of going to vinny......so..one never knows....i dont like hyped guys
