Dan Quinn Cowboys DC

How? Since 2000, Quinn has spent a total of 1 year coaching in college football.

Could he be good? I guess but he's got little to no recruiting experience over the last 20 years. Not sure how this would be a home run hire.
He was there 2 years… Along with Muschamp and Trob… with classes that were ranked 11/3 nationally. He already has prior relationship and coaching experience with Trob and Simpson

And he’s also coached under Nick Saban, Steve Mariucci, Pete Caroll, Eric Mangini, and now most recently Mike McCarthy.

Fuūck no.

I would say the same thing I said when we hired Manny: fùck me.

He’s a slogan machine and has failed as the head guy. JFC.

Ask the entire population of Atlanta what they think. Then you’ll have your answer.

Quinn would be in that second/third tier of guys. Miami would have to strike out on a lot and I mean a lot of guys before Quinn becomes a legit candidate. Frankly, the only two* NFL guys I'd truly consider to be legit candidates(If they are interested) are Kellen Moore(Cowboys OC) and Eric Bieniemy. Those two are dynamic offensive minds. The question with both would be recruiting, but you can build a staff around them that could deal with that.

That said, Bieniemy is most likely heading to USC, if not an NFL gig, and Moore may be holding out for an NFL HC spot too, especially seeing that he's a hot commodity right now.

*Joe Brady would be another guy, but we know full well if he comes back to College, he's heading to LSU, so there's no point in even considering him.

The moment I found out that the players were allowed to vape in the locker rooms Manny lost me. The staff tries to hard to be there friends. No more nice guys. We need ********. I like Quinn especially if we can't get Rex Ryan.

Quinn is a nice guy. Definitely not an *******

Me and everyone else who is a Falcons/Canes fan will be forced to give up paying attention to all levels of football higher than high school if this hire is made.

If the Cowboys implode like UM is and that staff gets fired I’d call Quinn. La Canfora (well respected) writes he’s open to college. He’s old enough to make Miami not a stepping stone and is the disciplinarian I’d like to see be head coach. This player friendly coaching is sh*t.

Yeah let me know the last time the falcons been to the super bowl before him. No one cares what Atlanta population thinks. They think Georgia is Bama 2.0 and haven’t won in a chip in 40 years. Not too good of a reason

Y’all say y’all want some one with HC experience but then throw out there NFL coordinators with less college experience lol y’all kill me on this board.

The reason Atlanta went to the Super Bowl that season, went on to coach the San Francisco 49ers the following year. How did the Falcons do after he left?

Quinn’s coaching stupidity should’ve been a fireable offense after the Super Bowl. 28-3. What else can you say?

The one thing Quinn was known for is defense, and the Falcons miserably failed at that every season he was there with the possible exception of the one Super Bowl year. One of the worst defenses in the NFL when he left.

You’re not going to win this one.

Dan Quinn is not head coach material.

Of course he’s 1000 times better than what we have, but vs anyone else, no, a big no.

They won 1 less game in the regular season and won a playoff game the following season……. to say all of his success is due to Shanahan is wild.
