Agreed. He’ll get u a couple of 10+ win seasons, a divisional crown, maybe even a NY6 bowl game…..but that’s about it. I mean, better than what we’ve experienced, but not championship caliber.

Exactly. Mullen is a good coach and always manages to put together a solid offense but he’s not the guy who’s going to assemble a championship caliber roster. The excuse at MSU was “well, nobody can recruit at Mississippi State” but now that he’s at Florida, he’s still not signing top classes. It’s telling that he had more success with a roster full of McElwain kids than he’s having with his own recruits. Especially defensively, they don’t have anyone

Which is exactly why we should have hired him, quite honestly. No, those aren't Alabama results, but in this era of college football, those results are a notch below. There is a lot of ground to cover between being a 2-4 ACC Team and competing for championships yearly.
