He went to break when they asked him for his plan and then came back and pulled the Chud name out of his ***- a scenario that Chud wouldn't accept in 1000 years yet Lebatard just blanket statemented that both Butch and Chud would be on board with it.

Butch is a boss and i hope he gets the chance to prove some of our cane fam on hede wrong. Im 100% confident we win with him but it will take time for anyone imo......but when he builds it it stays at a high level no drop off

not sold on Butch. he did not prove anything while in NC. what do people are so ticked off about Mark Richt? oh he hasnt win a championship. what about Butch? did he win one? from 1995-2000 1-5 against FSU! 8-5 guy in NC. give me a break

I stated he merely mentioned Chud as an option. Could be Cristobal, Schiano, Dorsey, could be whoever Butch feels would do a good job. You're skewing away from the larger point.

I mean it has only been 5 seasons since the guy had the job there. We should still be giving him credit. If UNC wins the ACC title game Fedora should call Butch up on stage and hand him the trophy.

My larger point is to not listen to Lebatard (or Billy Cohen) regarding anything about this program. Both are driven by pure self-interest. Disirregardless of the source, HCIW scenarios almost never work out anyway. Btw, I'm fine with a Butch hire but if you hire him then show him enough confidence and respect to not make it conditional like Lebatard was espousing.

Chud is not leaving the NFL to take the same position at a college program. If he keeps calling plays the way he is, he might earn himself another head coaching gig in the league.

I really see no difference with Richt and Butch. Both put a lot of players in the league. Both have reliably strong defenses. Both run very similar offenses.

If the committee feels Butch is tarnished from UNC, I'm fine with Richt and think we'll have similar success.

Lets see if fedora could maintain that with graduations n **** like that but hes done good this year lets see if its sustainable
