Technically yes, but we also know that bringing in this much money to the school is likely to free up money elsewhere. Athletic departments are not meant to turn a profit in the sense that no one is skimming profit off the top (at least not until private equity gets its hooks into college athletics). Athletic departments in the best of times break even. Which begs the question of what actually happens when an athletic department earns this much extra money. Where will that money be spent?NIL doesn't work that way. The CFP money goes to the school, not the collective.
