Dalvin Cook visiting Texas

I think yearby stated before that lockette told him and cook that they would be much more successful together than apart.

I am not saying that Cook flipping is impossible, but it is a bullshyt move if you've recruited kids to a school other than the one you ultimately sign at (if your pledge to go there was a factor in their decision). That's just the way I look at things, but I'm and old fool from the old school.

like i said, i still think usc is the biggest threat. dude has a weird fascination with kiffin and recruits seem to love playing for that douche.

but a lot of uf prospects have been saying cook has contacted them recruiting for uf. i know him and grier speak regularly. not sure what any of it means, but that's recruiting. dude could shock everybody and go back to clemson or some ****.

as to the yearby thing, its not that he doesn't want to share carries with yearby or play with him in the future, those dudes are like brothers. they just both want each other to shine and i guess in their minds its by both going to different schools and being the superstar. either way wherever they go, unless the schools just stop recruiting, they'll share some of the spotlight and carries.

I thought there was someone here a while back who said that Yearby and Cook were not like brothers and they weren't as close as we had thought.

didn't see that, but i know cook gushes about yearby in some of his interviews. he often talks about how they have a little friendly rivalry going right now.

Going from that to saying they are like brothers is a huge leap. jmo

If he accepts benefits from other places, that makes him ineligible. :ohlord:

Who is going to turn him in? One of the schools that gives him prizes? LULZ.

Franchise,
In all seriousness, is there any real chance this type of stuff happens?? (kids taking benefits then not signing with the skool whose booster provided the benney's??

I'm not franchise but I have a theory on it. The benefits kids take before signing day is paltry compared to what they can get once they sign. The proverbial carrot is the post signing day nugget of thousands of dollars and if you're a 5star kid, maybe even 6 figures and a promised job for mommy and daddy, etc. For pre-signing day non-refundable deposits, let's say, I wouldn't be surprised if it was carte blanche spending money for a weekend here or there. jmo

more in the way they push themselves to be better and one-up each other than anything malicious. kinda like you and your brother (for those who have a younger or older brother and know what i'm talking about)

Honestly, Miami still has the inside track on him.

Having 2 4-star teammates on your back everyday about joining them in Coral Gables. Plus with Deandre Burnett, his brother, playing basketball at UM, family & friends might sway him.

Cook is committed to another school and actively recruiting for them. Rumoured to be most intrigued by yet a third school. While I believe we have a shot, I also believe you may have a problem if "inside track" comes up on your SATs.

He needs to look up the word "commitment" in the dictionary!

The pivotal word in the statement is not "commitment" but "needs," which implies necessity and some potential benefits or consequences for Dalvin. Without a mechanism for enforcement, the knot comes undone, and the lasso becomes a skip rope.

Once Golden turns up the heat on Cook its over. Like I said, once Golden makes that in-home visit with his suit and tie and impeccable hair, he's gonna sweep Mama cook off her feet. So now he'll have mom, brother, and teammates pushing him to Miami. He won't want to let them down in the end.

I doubt he can turn it up much more. If Miami shows out this year you will see him flip. Al is already putting or has already put the full court press on the kid.
