He should take that stuff from other school, turn them in, and sign with UM. Andre Debose can show him how it's done
 
I don't buy that he doesn't want to play with Yearby.


If these kids want to go to the league they need to know that you don't want to go to a situation where a Corch like Bielema is going to take one RB and run his legs off so NFL scouts wonder about the wear and tear on his legs.


I'm sure Golden has mentioned this. I know we will have a rotation of backs if they both come. Even Reggie Bush had Lendale White taking the load off. You never want to be the workhorse in CFB. Unless you have no plans of going to the league.
 
I'm sorry...I want to believe that Cook will flip to us but as of today there is not much evidence of it. That's why I am not banking on him being here. After following recruiting going on ten years I'm just not convinced. When he starts hanging out on campus (like many of you are predicting will happen) I'll start to reconsider. like i said, i still think usc is the biggest threat. dude has a weird fascination with kiffin and recruits seem to love playing for that douche.

but a lot of uf prospects have been saying cook has contacted them recruiting for uf. i know him and grier speak regularly. not sure what any of it means, but that's recruiting. dude could shock everybody and go back to clemson or some ****.

as to the yearby thing, its not that he doesn't want to share carries with yearby or play with him in the future, those dudes are like brothers. they just both want each other to shine and i guess in their minds its by both going to different schools and being the superstar. either way wherever they go, unless the schools just stop recruiting, they'll share some of the spotlight and carries.
 
I really don't think cook is coming the kid has had every oppurtunity to come and he hasn't. He left clemson and still went to uf. He has not shown a lot of interest in miami i have seen several where he doesn't even mention of um as he talks about usc and other schools. The **** guy is from s.fla he never even visits miami. **** if it wasn't for coley we likely wouldn't have yearby either. I know cook is talented and would love to get him in this class but don't get your hopes up and let's celebrate yearby.
 
Isn't it common knowledge that Cook's family was basically pushing for him to get the biggest payday? Clemson then the SEC topped that.

I thought there was someone here a while back who said that Yearby and Cook were not like brothers and they weren't as close as we had thought.

didn't see that, but i know cook gushes about yearby in some of his interviews. he often talks about how they have a little friendly rivalry going right now.
 
The fact that Cook reportedly continues to try to recruit other players to UFag is good enough reason for me to believe that, as of now, UM is not in the picture. Yearby is a stud and I'm glad he has chosen UM.
 
If Yearby and Cook don't want to play together than why have they said that they are tryingto get each other to flip to their schools?
 
Once Golden turns up the heat on Cook its over. Like I said, once Golden makes that in-home visit with his suit and tie and impeccable hair, he's gonna sweep Mama cook off her feet. So now he'll have mom, brother, and teammates pushing him to Miami. He won't want to let them down in the end.

This circus is going to have a lot of twists and turns over the following months, be prepared for it, try not to get too high or too low.
 
Cook recruiting for UF doesn't mean we have no chance. If anything it means that he likes UF and wants to bring friends there with him but if you guys think that a player who recruits for a school automatically sticks with that school then you'r fooling yourself. Like I would say this how much does recruiting for a school mean if you're constantly visiting other schools possibly looking at flipping? With that said even though Yearby and Cook may not be as close as we think I dont think it's that bad because if it was then don't you think we would have heard either one beefing with the other about playing time and carries?
