dalvin cook interview today

Looks like he is gone. Sucks to not get him, but **** this board is going to be unbearable after he announces and with Rudolf and Lane most likely noles also. I love this class and hopefully Miami can still add another couple elite players to finish it out.

He is also said that he appreciates that the coaches left him alone during his last few weeks that he will be in Miami.

I take this to mean after he gets done with the AllStar game
He's gone to Tally.

Everything he says in the interview hints towards FSU and he does not sound like the trolling type at all.

The ultimate nightmare is very possible and lets face it likely that not just Cook, Lane and Rudolph but also JC pick FSU with the way things are trending. Then if you want a real kick in the balls imagine next year's class if FSU beats Auburn.

Now just try to stay positive it is the holiday season after all SMH!

I know nothing about insider information but form my opinions are based on interpretations of known facts. Until I heard this interview I thought Cook was coming to Miami. This interview was telling. Two things. First the Freudian slip about the championship game being the last time he plays with Yearby. Sorry guys this was not a troll. He's not that bright. This was the last game he would play with Yearby period. We don't know where he will go but it's not Miami. Later on the brother/mother remarks respecting his decision etc. confirms it. Powell's return to firm commitment is also a sign. Finally we know what the Gators are saying from this interview. "We had a bad year but so did Auburn last year and look at them". I think that he and the rest of the South Fl. group stay with their commitments to Florida. The fact he hasn't out of respect to their staff de-committed especially if he was going to their arch rival FSU leads me more to think Fl. Forget Lane too. The final recruiting days are going to be interesting anyhow.

I agree with everything except for the fact that the UA game wont allow you to announce if you are just recommitting to the same school.

Smart post my suggestion would be not to stick around and watch the Under Armor game it's gonna make a lot of people upset especially those that want to wait around for the announcement.

I haven't seen anything leading me to believe that any of Cook, Lane, and Rudolph were ever coming here. I don't see why the big deal over kids who clearly seem to want to leave SoFla.

Lol I don't know what to think anymore....

Still can't believe he's gonna look Yearby in the eye and leave

At the end of the day I would love to have Cook, Lane & Rudolph join this team, But offense isn't the problem with this team, we have more offensive weapons than 95% of the teams in Div. 1. We need DEFENSIVE TALENT PERIOD!!!!! It sucks not to get these offensive players but we need DT, LB & Safeties more to build a contender......

Fact.....

Of course you don't. You've supported the notion of "well, some kids just want to leave, let's not get rustled over losing these blue chippers" while others have acknowledged that the only way to defeat elite teams like FSU is to stack guys like this on our roster. Losing a collective trio of Cook, Lane, and Rudolph is a very big deal.

The ultimate nightmare is the Canes pulling in a ****** class.

We haven't done that. Those individuals would be the cherry on top, sure, but we're sitting pretty on the recruiting front.

Reality bites. Kids always have and always will leave, and there's nothing any coach in the history of Miami football has ever been able to do about it. It's stupid to think that AG can change that. I don't give a ***** about 'losing a trio like Cook, lane, and Rudolph' because we have 'a trio like Yearby, Chad Thomas, and Kiy Hester' committed, along with a bunch of other kids who fill more immediate needs (Valentine, Moten, Kaaya). Let those fools go to F$U if they want. Give me kids who love Miami and want to stay.

The big deal is that Cook and Rudolph are arguably the two best players in the state at their respective positions. And one is a local kid whose brother attends UM. And the other is coached by one of our all time greats. Losing them sucks, notwithstanding that we will still have a great class.

**** sucks but if he can really leave all his friends and family here for FSU then there was nothing we could've done about it in the end. It makes me realize that he loves Yearby, Darling and his brother but he was always going to leave smh its ****ed up but looks to be true

If you truly don't "give a *****" about kids who choose elsewhere, then why bother following recruiting until signing day?
