i still have no idea where the fsu momentum is coming from.

Probably the fact that they're in the nat'l championship, and favored, has something to do with it. I guess he'd rather play less but play for a contender, then be a focal point and play on 9-10 win team. I'm guessing that's his thinking, no idea though.

Once Howard took the visit to UM, most people started predicting him to pick UM. That isn't the case with Cook. We've had an in-home, had him take a visit, and most people predict FSU.

While I agree he probably isn't comin here after the UM visit his percentage on people picking Crystal Ball picks for UM jumped from like 1% to 35%.

We lose the two best players in South Florida 2 years in a row to FSU.....:ohlord:

Back up. Chad is the best player in So FL this year. Cook is fantastic but Chad goes higher in the draft 3 years from now. Cook is one of three top backs. Chad is in class of his own. Sure is is exciting to think about Cook in this class, but remember, we already stole FSU's rb back from this class-- Joe Yearby. UF stole Cook from Clemson and now FSU is trying to steal him from the gator.

The 2014 class is off the hook with or without Cook, Lane or anyone else we don't have. Joe and Brandon with Duke is one heck of a combo. FSU is probably losing most of their RBs and WRs this year. We CA state champion QB joining some serious weapons plus defensive and offensive line recruits that are among the best in country. Do I want Cook, sure but I want Fournette even more. BUT Yearby and Powell are going to tear up defenses for three or four years. Everyone new we add to this class now, probably cost us someone already in it. It that case, I want more D more than I want ANOTHER All Star RB. That said, come on Cook, is there anything better than coming on the NFL intro and saying "Dalvin Cook, THE U!"

I disagree. I've seen a number of videos of top RBs, including Yearby and Powell, but nobody can torch you from anywhere on the field the way Cook can. He's a bomb waiting to go off. Whether he'll be able to do that consistently against topflight college defenses, I don't know. I remember we had a slow defense pretty much contain Bo Jackson in '84, but I don't know if our defense now could stop Cook at FSU. I shudder to think of our current defense trying to contain Cook all game long.

And as good as Chad is, I'm not so sure he's as out-of-this-world good as you make him out to be. Let's see what he does when he plays with the big boys. And don't get me wrong, I'm really high on him.

This.........Cook is this years Coley in terms of instant impact.........at fsu he will rape us. Hes a baller even if he went to Temple hes that good. Kid hasnt even hit his cieling. Also if ur DE is not named Clowney he is not an instant impact, Idont even know if CT is as good as AQM coming out. AQM had a slight impact year 1 and I expect the same or less from CT. Ithink Cook will force the staff 2 give him touches, all signs point to fsu so i say miami in the end.

I've seen that video. So what? It's a drill. It's not a game. So he managed to knock a HS fatboy on his ***. He did it a bunch of times, as I recall. I also remember reading that Chad was pretty much handled by an OL when they played a school from Las Vegas, I believe. Now, Chad was playing inside, so he was not at the position he will play in college. I remember, though, how elite Chick was supposed to be, as was Allen Bailey, who was supposed to be a superman. Both turned out to be solid, but not spectacular college DEs. Let's see if Chad turns out to be extraordinary, elite, non pareil, or just another good college DE. I hope the former, I suspect the latter. (Odds are always on the latter.)

That's the thing Coley...and Cook, are immediate game changers. They can change the complexion of a game in the blink of an eye. Can Chad do that? Can any DE do that? How many interceptions, how many recovered fumbles, can a DE get and take it to the house? Once a season? Coley or Cook can burn you multiple times a game.

Jeez, would I love to have Cook, but don't think it's going to happen.

that is not just a "high school fat boy" , that is one of the top ranked offensive linemen in the country, 5 star Damian Mama. I expect Chad to have a little more of an impact than AQM in his first year because he is going to be coming in heavier and has a bigger frame than AQM.

Chad Thomas is a jump ball because hes a DE I agree.....Cook would make FSU even more unstoppable. Cook is the most important recruit this year just like Gibson next year. Yearby will not have a bigger impact than Cook and I dont know where these fans come from down playing Cook. Hes that fkin good, imagine if Coley went to FSU???? Holy ****.............. M Thomas last year was that recruit on the D side of the ball. Cook and Coley on kickoff duties forget about it no one would kick the ball, u think Coleys fast wait till u see Cook. I think Cook will be at UM since everyone is picking fsu, I said all year cook was fsu in the end but this feels strange. Last year everyone was coming to Miami and look how that turned out. I think people close to Cook and Cook himself are showing a more open lean to fsu and taking everyone for a ride. It will be Miami in the end I think it just feels weird. Y would he say its his last game with JY??????? y would JY be with him when he announces??? Watch it will be Miami, I just feel this way but I could be wrong it just feels very strange.

I hope you know that Seantrel was a 5 star and also when ur bigger like my man Prince is u kill HS DE's. He needs to be taught and maybe in a year or 2 this wont happen to him............1 on 1's mean **** to be honest especially OL vs DL. Its still impressive but cmon now.

Would gladly like to see him stick to the gata if doesn't flip to us. Lane too. At least we wouldn't have to deal and play with them.

i still have no idea where the fsu momentum is coming from.

"[N]o idea." Really? Do you pay attention to the actual CFB games or just recruiting itself? If you watched CFB then it would be crystal clear where FSU's "momentum is coming from."

I have dissected all of the interviews that Dalvin has made over the last week over and over. My gut feeling is Florida here, they backed off of him and thats what will probably pay off for them. I believe Miami may have over recruited him. The kid wanted to be recruited hard then when Miami came after him with everything but the kitchen sink he decided he wanted to shut the process down. My predictions Florida 60% MIA 25% FSU 15%. I hope and pray that Yearby can change his mind but I think that is to late. He will be in a struggling offense for a year or two before they get their act together down there in Gainesville.
