Brown is able to bulldoze through and gain more yards because of his size and due to being more compact; however, whereas Pringle's size keeps him from gaining yards through blunt force, he has the speed advantage and can squeeze through smaller gaps.

Statistically speaking - Marty Brown
Used more but won't gain as many rushing yards - Girard Pringle

I adore them both, but watching Brown step in with a fresh set of legs in the 4th quarter of the Ohio State game was one of my favorite moments of that game.

It should be Pringle. I know he struggled in pass pro but he offers something the others don't have and is a perfect compliment to Fletcher and Marty. Reminds me a lot of Warwick Dunn.

The fact that Jordan Lyle didn’t hit the portal leads me to believe the coaches have plans for him. He looked pretty bad in 2025. Wonder if this year is a big turnaround.

Pringle

He's really good. Pull up the tape, crazy how effective he is running DUO, sneaks thru there and gets 5 before you even see him. Hot take is he may actually lead the team in yards, he will split reps with Fletcher and I'm pretty sure coaches are going to keep the carries to Mark kinda limited for a playoff run.

Marty is my guy. I love that kid’s play, he’s been clutch as ****, especially in the passing game. Fletch is the best, but Brown is my favorite. I have a feeling that Pringle will have more yards, but Marty will be second behind Mark in TDs. His versatility will be huge.
