DAILY DEBATE: Who was the most impressive player you saw last weekend?

Bain looked like the best player in CFB this weekend.

My two runner ups would have to be Germie Bernard from Bama and Robert Henry from UTSA, that kid is good.

I had eyes on a ton of games and I truly think if you don’t say Bain you’re trying too hard not to be a homer, if we’re just talking who you would say was the most impressive player if you didn’t have preconceived notions.

But we need to start loading the Brinks truck up for JKS right now.

Bain
Baby Jesus
Cal QB
Tim Tebow for telling Finebaum to shut it with the Arch hype and we just playing football during the pre-game show. Much respect!

Carson Beck and it’s not even close. The throws he made, the way he navigated that pocket and the way he controlled that game was a master class. People have to keep remembering, that could be the best secondary in the country, He just lit up.
You forgot to mention the check downs to Brown.

The first TD to Toney was an NFL level play between him maneuvering in pocket, side stepping left and then throwing off back foot.

Unfortunately to me that was the only elite NFL throw we saw. There were a few shots deep he missed imo, but overall it was a good (not great) performance. Which is expected for the secondary he was facing.

Looked eerily similar to the same type of play that Cam hit George on in the back of the end zone vs UF too.
