DAILY DEBATE: Who starts at LB, Wesley Bissainthe or Jaylin Alderman?

Alderman is much better in Pass coverage & Wes is better as a Rusher. Rotate'em both situationally for Run/Pass downs.

This. Lack of discipline on the back 7 has killed us for years allowing mediocre ACC competition be competitive or outright beat us when they shouldn't have. I think WB has improved but Alderman should get more reps until WB proves he's a better option on the field. Grabbing Alderman was one of the most slept on additions we made.
 
i think they will be competing into the season, id choose alderman. Wes was bad last year imo

except Wes is a south florida DOG. alderman went to some no-name backwoods georgia school that probably doesnt even know what football is.

I think Alderman starts v UF but Wes is either starting or getting more snaps by late season. He’s going to have his year three breakout season.
 
People defend Wes, like many on here have said, but those same people dont want to admit that based on HS hype alone..Wes should be Preseason All-Acc by now and a clear leader in that LB room. Hes underachieved big time. He has to be held accountable..Alderman is here to take the majority of his snaps even though they will both play alot im sure.
 
He appears next in line at MLB but is Aguirre not in the mix to start opposite Mauigoa?

Exactly. They will rotate a lot. We will see some 3-3-5 again too. Better depth than last year. Healthy Chase Smith will factor in as well.

Dude was lost a ton...James Williams spent half of his time trying to tell him what to do....But when Wes knows something and is going forward he is very twitchy and reaches it right away.

He looked improved in spring but again that would be with play diagnostics of playing the same guys for weeks. When its misdirection and things of the sorts he gets lost at times.

I would like to see The rotation...also need Popo grabbing some reps along with Bobby, Hayes, And Pruitt being eased in to reps. I think it will eventually be hard to keep Hayes and Pruitt off the field.

They need special teams reps but i need to see some live game action as well.
