One of the things that makes The U so truly amazing is that things occur at Miami that seem impossible anywhere else on the planet. I am going to type two factually accurate statements. Only at The U can both of these be factually correct.
Statement #1: Ray Lewis is the greatest linebacker of all-time.

I actually thought Ray Lewis was better than Morgan in college.
Just my opinion. If you're going to throw insults my way, please make sure they are accurate or funny. I get really sensitive if I'm insulted and it's not true and not funny.
PS. The margin of difference in the two isn't much.

Dan Morgan is our all time leading tackler and had what might be the best individual season for a linebacker not just in UM history but in college football in general.
Ted Hendricks might be the all time best player at UM but he would be more considered an “edge” player than a true linebacker in the modern game.
Ray Lewis was also fantastic and I have no issue with anyone putting him at number one. I just give the edge to Morgan because he got his numbers while also playing next to another tackling machine, Nate Webster for most of his career.
