I want to see Beck connect on a couple of those deep shots we kept taking and over throwing.

With our run game, that's about the only option we have to be an explosive offense.. connecting on those throws.

Excited to see Simpson, Wiley, and Fitz.

Wiley, Lowe, and Simpson. Want to see if we can expect some contributions from these talents later in the season. Also, what do the backup QB’s look like. Does Emory look any different or do we need to develop Nickel?

Grab your chance to breathe early in the season or Mario and his late game decision making will put you 6 feet under

Beck getting more comfortable with the receivers.

We got the ball first coming out of the half, up 14-7, and on the drive down to make it 21-7, Beck threw 4 passes.

Over the next full quarter and a half, he threw the ball 6 times. Had 20 throws in the first half, and 10 in the second half. We're not beating everyone on our schedule going into a shell like that on offense with a 14 point lead. I get the reasons why, even though I don't fully agree with them. And we won the game, so it's great.

But this dude is a polished QB, a smart, cerebral kid with all the talent in the world. You didn't bring him here to turn him into Emory Williams in the 2nd half of games. The more reps he can get with the WRs, the more they're going to trust the entire passing offense. So I'd be OK with us coming out and throwing it 30 times in the first half against Bethune. Treat it like a live 7-on-7 game.
OBM is killin' it today.
Exactly, Beck needs the reps with USF coming to town. They'll try to duplicate what they did to us LY and got burned due to Ward being so efficient. Their game with UF will be very, very interesting. If they can pull the upset, it will turn into another "Miami is in trouble..."
