DAILY DEBATE: Who are you most looking forward to watching against Bethune Cookman?

I want Lyle to build confidence after last game. Need him focused and pushing.

I also really want to see Lofton get something unique I want to see what he can do.

Lastly, I want to see a few INT from the secondary to continue to get those guys feeling invincible.

I want to see Emory get a full quarter of work, followed by Nickel for a full quarter.

I want to see the 2025 class get meaningful reps. I want to see Bryce man the back end for a half alongside Day. I want to see Kellen play the second half.

Also want to see Russell and Simpson play a bunch at DT in the second half.

Pringle and the young receivers.

More specifically I want Beck to play 2 quarters max. Then a quarter of Emory and a quarter of nickel.

Get the vets off the field early with deep rotations from the beginning. We got a long season ahead.

Beck getting more comfortable with the receivers.

We got the ball first coming out of the half, up 14-7, and on the drive down to make it 21-7, Beck threw 4 passes.

Over the next full quarter and a half, he threw the ball 6 times. Had 20 throws in the first half, and 10 in the second half. We're not beating everyone on our schedule going into a shell like that on offense with a 14 point lead. I get the reasons why, even though I don't fully agree with them. And we won the game, so it's great.

But this dude is a polished QB, a smart, cerebral kid with all the talent in the world. You didn't bring him here to turn him into Emory Williams in the 2nd half of games. The more reps he can get with the WRs, the more they're going to trust the entire passing offense. So I'd be OK with us coming out and throwing it 30 times in the first half against Bethune. Treat it like a live 7-on-7 game.
