DAILY DEBATE: What adjustments would you make on offense going from Ward to Beck?

Run the ball 70% of the time.

More creative run game. Pistol, off tackle/outside zone, counters.

Play-action. Make the LBs and Safeties think instead of allowing them to run downhill so much.

I want our linemen to start throwing sand in the opposition’s eyes at the snap. I don’t see any rule against it.

- He's not as good of a QB
- The WR's are unproven
- No Martinez <— We have a “3” headed monster . We got away from the 2 that got us there.
- No Arroyo <— BIG PROBLEM! Need an Arroyo from both a size/athleticism standpoint
- A less mobile QB won't have as much time in the pocket to survey the field, which means less opportunities at the Deep ball
- Defenses are going to play a lot more Man coverages & send overload Blitzes

The only way to maximize the Offense is to run it until it causes nosebleeds. That's the only way to open up the passing game, because otherwise Defenses are not going to respect our weapons, which will dictate the way in which they attack us.

If you wanna see a bunch of turnovers & 3 & outs, then be my guest, but it would be unwise to play to our weaknesses over our strengths.

But either way, don't take my word for it, you'll see it for yourself in Aug/September.
