The Titans have done a lot in free agency and the draft the last two off seasons so hopefully our guy doesn’t get David Carr’d.
They are doing everything possible to help him. I've been a groupie, following all of it. Next week is mini camp. There are three days open to the media so more will hit the airwaves.This. @DTP, the Titans OL is pretty good. They signed Dan Moore in free agency to play LT, and he's not incredible but he's definitely solid. He's not going to be a turnstile there.
That allows them to move JC Latham to RT, who they took 7th overall in the 2024 draft. RT is his natural position, he should be very good there in Year 2 in the league.
Kevin Zietler came over from the Lions in the off-season, he's a 35 year old veteran who has played on some kick-*** OLs in his career in Detroit and Baltimore.
Lloyd Cushenberry is probably a Top 10 center in the league, and they have Peter Skoronski at the other guard position, another Top 15 pick in Year 3 who has been very good.
I expect their OL to be a strength. I understand usually with the #1 pick, the immediate concern is the OL. But the Titans problem, more than anything, is on defense. I think Cam will be protected well, Tony Pollard is a really underrated back, and they have Ridley, Van Jefferson, the corpse of Tyler Lockett, Treylon Burks if he can ever stay healthy, Chig is a decent TE. They're not elite on offense as far as weapons but Cam should be in a spot where he can play well. He's got enough around him to not have no chance like some other #1 picks have had.

He supposedly had a rough start in 7v7 yesterday but pulled it together and did very well in the team periods, 11 v 11 included.
I'm a Jets fan but refusing to buy any of their kool aid this season. I'll keep an eye out on Fields but I'm not investing any money in tickets at this point. I hope Aaron Glen can pull it together - I would like to see Justin Fields be successful.Me too, I grew up a Dolphins fan but haven't followed closely for years, but I'm all in on the Titans now.
Looking to go to the New England game in Nashville in October.
Titan Up!! (Is that what they say? I have no idea)

Looks like it could be a challenge to watch Titans games this season. I may have to invest in one of the streaming packages in addition to what I have. They are killing football fans with these broadcasts this season..
Wrote all this and left out the dark horse Restrepo.This. @DTP, the Titans OL is pretty good. They signed Dan Moore in free agency to play LT, and he's not incredible but he's definitely solid. He's not going to be a turnstile there.

Why do you think Cam will throw that many INT's???Rookie qb’s that start for their franchise tend to struggle. Even the great ones like Peyton Manning had a tough rookie year.
Cam will put up decent numbers, but he will also take a lot of sacks and throw almost as many interceptions as TD’s. He also doesn’t have the luxury of playing behind the Eagles o-line. Probably put up a Trevor Lawrence type rookie campaign. Not terrible stats, but he will take his bumps and bruises.
Passing yards: 3,500+
TD’s: 23
INT’s: 18
